I've been here several times in my travels through Kansas City. The first thing to note is that this is one of the most up scale BBQ joints I've ever been to. It's a bit odd if you're used to most other BBQ places. The ceilings are high, the art fancy, the service professional. However, I feel that the food lives up to the atmosphere. I've ordered several items here and everything has been very good. The Meats were all tender and smoky, the side were all generous and tasty. The only real issue I've ever had is that if you just walk in, you're in for quite a wait.

Combo plate is the only way to go to get essence of KC BBQ. Include Burnt Ends as one of 3 selections. Even the sides were better than expected! Bar staff were friendly and engaging. Go on a slower night or face a full parking lot and parking on streets.
