This is the place. Check all the “Best Of” lists for BBQ and you’ll find Dannys. Atmosphere is tops. Food is just the best. A little heat that lingers. Check hours because of short staff but make it work. Won’t regret it.

Really enjoyed my unique Philly Cheese Steak, and the food for the rest of my group looked great too! The menu had a bunch of things that make me want to come back and try even more!

Awesome BBQ, great service and big portions.

Burnt ends tasted like dried tuna. Brisket slices were thicker than Aunt Fanny. The sweet potato fries kinda smacked though

Best BBQ in Kansas City. Hands down. Sliced brisket cannot be beat. Definitely try the Big D sandwich! Be aware that they are only open for lunch, but it’s totally worth trying!

If you want great barbecue Danny Edwards is the best barbecue in town. Very nice clean place. The service is just fantastic. You need something don't get it for you yum yum yum yum yum

Let's get this out of the way right out of the gate. Best beef brisket in KC! Sliced thick, super juicy, and full of flavor! 'The Big D' is a fantastic sandwich that highlights the brisket on marble rye with cheese and an onion ring. I'm not sure there is a better BBQ sandwich anywhere. The BBQ beans are also very tasty. During colder months I've had the chili here and it's absolutely top notch. Served with warm tortillas! This place is only open for lunch but definitely worth a try as I feel like it gets overlooked in KC's crowded BBQ scene!

Hands down a hidden gem. Best bbq in kc. Staff is wonderful. The food is everything you would expect from a kc bbq restaurant. Great prices and healthy portions. I try to go once a week.
