Highly recommended, so stopped here for dinner on a recent trip to KC. Three of us decided to share the Pitmaster Family Share Dinner and not was it a treat! We really enjoyed sampling all of the great smoked meat - and although pork and beans aren't usually high on my list, they were very good also.
If you are ever on the Plaza area in Kansas City - I highly recommend that you try this place. You won't be disappointed.

Food was so delicious, we ordered the full rack of beef ribs, it come with bbq beans, coleslaw, creamy corn, sweet pickles and sour onions.
Visiting from Arizona, was recommended to visit Jack Stack.
Jack's a place you don't want to miss, friendly & welcoming staff, prompt service, amazing food (we try their famous beef & pork burn ends, pull pork, brisket, pork & beef ribs everything was delicious including their sides) great variety on their menu, prices a bit above average but well worth every penny........a must visit if you're in the plaza area.
The Cheesey Corn is a must. I had the burnt ends on a hug potato. Server was great just wish they didn't do someone's job interview to work there right next table. Is a little pricey but you get good amount of food

Hats off to this place! Not only is it the most unreal BBQ food wise…the staff is hands down the greatest part. Jessica the bartender was amazing, Dakota not only showed me where they smoke all the meat but answered every question I had to ask. Seth the manager was cool as could be about it as well. As a backyard BBQ’er seeing this place “behind the scenes” makes it all the better. Couldn’t recommend this place enough to anybody wanting the Kansas City BBQ experience.
Good food. Service was great! Rather noisy.
Main course hasn’t come out yet but that bbq shrimp appetizer puts this place at 5stars on its own!
Dry Burnt ends…
Haven’t been here in a while and sad to say the burnt ends are not great. They were quickly served and tentative waiter.
Char Bar has definitely stolen the market in this area.
One of the best barbecue places in Kansas City if you want excellent food with an upscale setting. Having eaten here since I was a little girl, it is a favorite and everything is good. You cannot go wrong.
