The Royal Inn & Suites

Nice place I would recommend staying here. The staff is courteous kind and always willing to help and answer any questions. The rooms are all remodeled and very up to date and very comfortable and quiet.

The place is under renovation. it is extremely affordable so it sells out on the weekend. I don't think it has a pool or anything like that, we just used it to sleep. They are pet friendly but was it is $25/night for a pet, which seems steep especially for multi-night stays. It is not a 5 star hotel but it's really nice if all need is a comfortable place to stay. The parking lot needs a lot of work but the private owner is doing what he can do as he turns this place into a nice hotel.

Great new management!!... Nice clean rooms made both my girls real comfortable (if you catch my drift?)... Only gave 4 stars because i would like a room I can smoke in!!

The new owners are doing an excellent job of redoing the place and providing the best service i have ever gotten at a hotel. The room was nice and very clean and comfortable. The service was over the top. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We ended up here due having car trouble and the staff was very helpful with helping us get back on the road and a place to stay. even contacted the other hotel I had booked for that night so I would not be double charged for the same night.We stranded a hour away from were we heading and not sure what we would have done if the staff had not been so helpfull.

Highly recommend. Much renovations going on but it was worth the money to stay here. One of The owners checked us in and told us the vision for this place. I stayed here many, many times in the 70s and 80s. This place was awesome back in the day. They new owners have moved out the riff raff and are developing it back into a great hotel.. The price was excellent and when finished it will be the best value on the east side of Akron! Highly recommend but please be patient and understanding of the current construction and renovations. They are working to make the stay a great value. We will definitely be back!

Ron cook was very kind and made sure I didn't need for anything. From the moment we checked in we felt like royalty. Made sure our room was clean and ready to go, each day checked on us and our needs. My wife had to leave early one day and he was very concerned and checked on on our kids wellness. Would recommend this place to anyone and everyone rooms were great clean and above my expectations. There is some construction but for the rate and the treatment it wasn't even noticeable besides parking lot repairs. If you're thinking about staying don't cheat yourself on the chance.

I was presently surprised how nice it was. Newly remodeled, appliances in room, clean and the owner and staff were friendly.

My stay at the Royal Inn was very, very nice! My room was clean, my bed was extremely comfortable!!! and the HOSPITALITY truly AWESOME!!!! I meant the owners Ron and his wife they are good people inside and out!!! If you ever in Akron and you want GREAT HOSPITALITY, CLEAN ROOM, GOOD SLEEPING COMFORTABLE BED!!! Go to the ROYAL INN!!!! Stayed at this Inn as part of a Wedding party over the weekend. It is currently being remodeled/renovated therefore, it's a work in progress, so don't judge this book, by it's cover. You will definitely enjoy a good night's rest, in a clean, safe environment. The management & ownership is great, very accommodating & committed to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Move past the exterior & go inside for the closer look. You will see in due time this hotel shows promise.

This Hotel & it's staff and special shout out to "Ron" are the complete package. Upon Arrival!!!They helped me deal with a traumatic wedding event failure, with the exceptional hospitality and welcoming customer service skills.
It's Entrance was a tastfully, exquisite, lobby with mesmerizing lighting.
The hallway to our room #215 was easily executed for a disabled guest. The room was fabulous, floors were ideal for a service animal, and it's owners comfortably on mobility & space.
The bed and its flawless appearance was like sleeping on cloud nine. The self regulating of the temperature of the A/C and Fan was ideal for the Dangerous Temperatures of extreme heat.
The microwave, TV and refrigerator was top notch.
The free breakfast, fruit, water, juice, and coffee was extremely accommodating & accessible.
There are Soda, Energy, cold coffee drinks for sale behind the counter that are below what you pay for anywhere in the United States of America. This also pertains to the vending machine with munchies.
AAA was how this spectacular Hotel was introduced to me and they will receive a very similar rating of 5 Stars. I without a doubt can say that the "Non Smoking Policy" was a major plus for me, that the staff followed through with for the comfort of the Non-Smoking customers.
I highly recommend The Royal Inn in Akron, Ohio for Absolutely everybody and looking forward to returning.
