Why look elsewhere as this is a must stay.

1. Rooms are large and clean.
2. Staff is engaged, attentive, and helpful. 3. Great location within walking/biking distance or a 5 minute drive to most of the things to do in Akron.
4. A private theater that seats 19ppl!!
5. Oh...I almost forgot ?, a Speakeasy secretly hidden with lobby access. PS: Let me know if you are wondering how to get in ?

We checked out some of the Cuyahoga Valley trails, scenic train, Akron Rubber Ducks (AA Baseball), and Lock 15 (Microbrewery with full foodbservice). Wished we had the time to take in more!! We'll be back ?

Downtown Akron’s Courtyard Marriott is the absolute best. To start, Sheryl in management was amazing to work with. So helpful and polite in helping me block rooms for our guests. We had a ton of rooms reserved for our big day and everything went so smoothly. Hotel staff were very helpful with handing out welcome bags. Location was excellent. My guests raved about the Speakeasy, outdoor patio, and proximity to Akron staple Luigi’s. Very clean rooms. We stayed in a suite and it was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. Use this hotel for your Akron wedding or a weekend getaway. So glad we did!!

Cool location with Food and drinking options walking distance. Rooms were top notch stand up shower could easily accommodate 2 people or even 3 if that's your thing. Breakfast cost is extra but decent menue. Staff is friendly. Parking is a 3 out of 5 but you shouldn't have issues finding it just prepare to walk a little bit. Overall I would stay again considering the options if I work close by again.

Fine new facility with extremely large rooms (HUGE shower) in a yuppized neighborhood. Attractive breakfast space that serves Starbucks coffee with a reasonable menu that is not complementary. My only complaint was the limited parking, which was mostly on-street and tight.

This Courtyard by Marriott in Downtown Akron is just lovely. I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone was so nice!
The decor is nice and comfy as well.

Mel at the front desk was amazing and Chaynoe from housekeeping left me a handwritten note to wish me an enjoyable stay. Personal touches are everything!
The event space is nice. And there's a Business Center that has everything you need and lots of cozy seating...
I really enjoyed the eating spots within walking distance as well.

Rooms were super clean,close to venue for our daughters wedding. Bathroom showers were amazing and beautiful.

This hotel is beautiful. It is a wow factor. I am originally from the Akron area and am a graduate student in NW Ohio. For an academic conference, several of us came down and stayed at this location. I heard nothing but praise among my fellow scholars and I must agree with them. The rooms are up to date, clean, and beautiful. Each room seems to have everything you could ever need and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The Northside Speakeasy which is located in the hotel has wonderful cocktails and attentive staff. They pull out all the stops for their guests and I highly recommend the Grasshopper if you like chocolate and mint. My significant other joined me and had a lavender cocktail that was amazing! The hotel is located close to Lock15 where several scholars went for dinner as well as Luigi's which is an Akron staple! I would highly recommend this hotel for business and couples!

Absolutely beautiful room and one of the friendliest staffs we have come across. Everything was super clean and neat. Will definitely recommend to friends

The room is clean. The location is right in downtown with many food options around the hotel. Public parking in front of the hotel is convenient and safe. Highly recommend this hotel if you visit Akron.

First time here. Check in was seamless, room was spotless. Would stay here again and recommend to others
