I came to The Healing Studio looking for help with a recently torn ligament in my shoulder, and I am so glad I found Krissy! Not only has she completely resolved this issue for me after just a few sessions, she has also helped me release pain, restrictions, and trauma in other areas of my body. For instance, I’ve struggled with endometriosis for at least 15 years, with the symptoms becoming more severe within the last 4 years. Painful periods, chronic pelvic pain, painful ovulation, etc. Thankfully it didn’t take long for me to start noticing an improvement after seeing Krissy. There were times where it would get a little bit worse before feeling better, but that’s just the body’s natural healing process. Krissy is truly a master of her craft, and she is so kind and compassionate. I always leave her studio feeling so rejuvenated.

The Healing Studio completely lives up to its name. I found Krissy and The Healing Studio following a car accident. I was looking for a healing modality that would actually address my whole body, my pain, and help release the trauma that I had endured. I had done traditional physical therapy following a previous car accident with limited results. I really hoped The Healing Studio would have something new to offer. After my first session, I knew I had found what I was looking for. Krissy's blend of PT knowledge within the MFR framework allowed me to re-enter my body and free myself from pain in a way that was not possible before.

I was amazed. Krissy helped me get back to dance and choreography within a few months, and my chronic pain from the previous accident is practically gone. Moreover, the work is so transformative that I still receive therapy on a monthly basis. It's some of the best self-care I have ever given myself. The Healing Studio is truly holistic healing--body, mind and spirit.

Before coming to The Healing Studio I was told by my doctor that I would need to have surgery to heal my carpel tunnel. I was in a lot of pain and a friend referred me to Krissy at the Healing Studio. I had never heard of myofascial release before but at that point I was willing to try anything to avoid having surgery. The first time I met Krissy she was professional, knowledgeable, and so kind. Within a few sessions I started to feel relief and months later I was completely pain free and my carpel tunnel is completely gone!! Words cant describe how grateful I am to have met Krissy and for all that she has done for me. I highly recommend going to the Healing Studio if you are in search of pain relief!

Before I my wife introduced me to The Healing Studio and its owner, Krissy, I had never heard of myofascial release (MFR). "Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion" (myofascialrelease.com). Even after one treatment with Krissy, I could feel the difference in my body. My digestion improved, my body had less tension, and my sleep improved! It was a pretty incredible phenomenon. I would absolutely suggest Krissy and The Healing Studio to everyone.

I am so happy and grateful for the healing studio and myofascial release! Krissy is sensitive, caring and makes everyone feel like one of the family from the first moment she is with you. The results of treatment effect your entire body and help to permanently change each persons imbalances/ injuries for the better, even if you have had the problems for years and have given up hope of healing!
Myofascial release treatments work much faster than traditional physical therapy and the gains made are MUCH quicker than other forms of therapy. Try it. You will not regret it!

Krissy does an amazing job with my HS son that plays football. Her therapy does wonders for keeping him on the field. Highly recommend if you are dealing with injuries.

Trying to think of the right words to use for the woman that saved my life! Not an exaggeration. I was 4yrs into remission from chemo and in chronic pain when I finally went to see Krissy. I was starting to believe that I was never going to feel better but wasn’t willing to accept it. After the 1st session with her it was like by body was finally given the help it needed to begin healing. When I left the healing studio the sky was bluer, the birds were chirping and I was better than I had felt in a long time. THAT WAS AFTER 1 TIME! I had my first visit with Krissy 2 weeks ago and I was completely blown away by her.. I am currently struggling with lower back/hip pain and the first appointment I had with Krissy, she released a lot of pain from my back, the day after I felt like I was on cloud 9, she is the miracle that I’ve been looking for. I have been seeing Krissy for a couple of years now for myofascial release therapy since suffering a birth injury and she has helped so much with managing my pain. She is very passionate and knowledgeable about what she does and I have learned so much about my body from her. She's also the most kindest and genuine person and have always made me feel comfortable. Before coming to The Healing Studio I had just about come to terms with being in constant pain, I had tried everything I could from creams to other forms of therapy. My chiropractor recommend I look into specialized therapy and after just one visit I felt a tremendous amount of relief and I already am looking forward to my next appointment!
