Fantastic food, and beautiful space! You can really tell all of the food is fresh made, even the tortillas, chips, and salsas.
I had the giant lobster quesadilla, I don't think I've ever gotten an entree with that much lobster before. Perfectly prepared, delicious, and when they say giant, they mean it!
The desserts are also excellent, tried the tres leches, and churro cart. Both were great.
First and foremost- our server was phenomenal. Our water glasses were never empty and our napkins were always folded. Absolutely amazing. My husband and I have felt that lately people don't work hard in the food service industry so this was a huge breathe of fresh air.
The food was good- presentation was very nice. Maybe not our favorite Mexican though.
Prices... definitely on thr higher end hut the service was on par.
Went to Toro's for a group meal. We had some good tacos. I had a shrimp taco, meat taco, carnitas taco with rice and beans. The frozen margaritas were really good. Good guacamole, good tomato salsa. Good meal thank you.
In my opinion, restaurants that serve Mexican food in the Upstate area do a decent job with food. Most menus are similar, so it comes down to service and ambiance. Toro is on another level in regards to food quality, service, distinct menu, desserts and the ambiance is top notch. If you want to experience Mexican style on a higher level, goto Toro.
Flavorful! So much delicious flavor. This was my first time. Looking forward to returning. Tamales were very tasty. Benjamin was exceptional. We ordered several dishes based on his recommendations and he was so right. They patio is huge and comfortable.
Best guacamole I’ve ever had!! Great gluten free and vegetarian options. Their spicy margarita is also to die for.
Beautiful space, great drinks and food! The ABSOLUTE BEST part of my birthday dinner was our waitress OLIVIA! What an awesome girl felt like we knew her for years! Thanks girl it was so great to meet you!! ❤️❤️

I’m hesitant to write this. This is a hidden gem in Albany. Wow. My husband made reservations for our anniversary. To say I was impressed would be an under statement. I walked in and felt like I left Albany the vibe was just incredible. Food was delicious. Service was excellent, I will be back!
Olivia was our waitress and she made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Our reservation was for 7:30 and we were promptly seated. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. We chose the Guacamole and Chicken Tortilla Soup as a starter. We had the Chicken & Shrimp Fajitas. The food was brought out timely but not too fast allowing us the enjoy the flavors and textures. The Guacamole was very good but the Chicken Tortilla Soup was amazing. We enjoyed the Fajitas and the various condiments which added amazing flavors. We would recommend this establishment as a great place to enjoy a dinner for two or a family affair. The finally was a delicious desert crafted on their specialty list. Fresh vanilla Ice cream with Raspberries, Buttery Pound Cake with Shaved Almonds. Very enjoyable. We were finished and walked out at exactly 9:30. Very enjoyable and great food.
