After living in Albany for a year, I had lost hope in finding an authentic Mexican sit down. I had gone to other local restaurants at the recommendation of coworkers and friends -- utter disappointment. Then, I came here. This restaurant has given me hope. The chips and salsa were delicious and authentic. The cochinita pibil was tasty. The tacos are large and delicious, although missing the selection of salsas I'm used to. The tres leches is legit. The jalapeño margaritas have bite. My boyfriend told me their menu has been limited post-pandemic but it's still nice to eat food that tastes like home. Thank you.
The service and atmosphere here is great. We always enjoy ourselves. The food was excellent even though options for vegans are sparse. (Hold the sour cream and cheese, please) I had the veggie fajita and loved it. Their margaritas and mojitos are great. Definitely eat and drink here whenever you have the chance!

The food is so damn good! I go every time my folks visit. The staff is very professional and nice. The drinks are tasty. Definitely check it out! Very good environment for kids to eat as well ?
This is my favorite Spanish/Mexican restaurant in the capital region/country. I've had plenty of this style food in Mexico, some being just as good but this place but you don't have the worries of eating street food in a foreign country. I've been to other Spanish/Mexican restaurants in parts of the country but none compare so far. I still have yet to visit the well known bordering states so that's not saying a ton for my experience but it says enough for this place, specially being as far as it is from its border. Thanks.
Nice restaurant, love the outdoor terrace. I had tamales which were very good and the margaritas were delicious, too. Chips and salsa was brought out first thing and the salsa was excellent. The staff is very nice. Beware of the climb up up up the stairs to the bathroom! Don't wait until the last minute to dash to the bathroom--that ain't happening. Parking can be an issue so be sure to carpool, etc.
I went with my daughter and her friends over the weekend. Very impressed with my food. It was very enjoyable and the customer service was great. I felt very welcome and the mexican vibe really got to me. If I were to go again (and I definitely will) I would get the fried ice cream because it was really good.
So glad we found this place! Location is a little tricky if you're coming down South Swan Street, but there's a side street just before the underpass that lets you circle the block to find parking.
Good food served in hearty portions, well-seasoned and full of flavor. My only regret was that I couldn't get all the desserts! Their flan is smooth and creamy without being overpoweringly sweet.
The patio is a great place to sit and enjoy your food if the weather is good. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Service was fast, though we were there fairly late at night and it wasn't crowded.
Will definitely be coming back!
