Le Colonial

My first time dining at the Houston location. This place is hopping but I also know why…from the GM (Alex) to the Bartenders (Cody & MJ), to the servers - everyone is super friendly and attentive. I don’t need to grade them on the foods…Le Colonial dining rooms are consistently crowded no matter what time of the year, from here to Chicago to Atlanta. Looking forward to visiting the Houston location again next month when I’m in town for business.

Visit for a late lunch during restaurant week and by far, one of my best culinary experiences to date. From start to finish i enjoyed the chicken dumplings, salmon over bok Choy while swimming in a savory yet delightful curry sauce. Unfortunately I couldn’t resist and ordered a small cup of the pho bo beef noodles and I didn’t regret it. With craft cocktails and a nice atmosphere ; I recommend for date night, business, table for 1 and more. Make reservations at all times.

I had lunch for the first time and the food was really good! We sat at the bar and Roland (bartender) was excellent. He provided a friendly and seamless service, even though he was super swamped the entire time we were there… good job guys!

I got the HRW lunch, and for $20, it was outstanding. Left me full without feeling bloated. The firecracker beef is outstanding!

The food here was amazing. I will definitely be going back to try more items on the menu. It is quite expensive, however I think that it was worth it. The cocktails were also unique and flavorful. I can definitely recommend the crispy veggie rolls and the roasted salmon!

I got the vermicelli bowl and it was excellent. Also recommend the shrimp spring rolls. The atmosphere is fun and it's nice that the balcony is air conditioned.

First time visiting and I'm so glad I did. I met up with a group of ladies who are frequent dinners here so they all knew exactly what to order and recommended. The wine was perfectly paired with each dish as well. We ordered family style and for the 4 of us and the portions where perfect. I will be returning, and our server Evan was the absolute BEST!

Food is good, especially the Cha Gio. Atmosphere is nice, and service is prompt. However, the food is on the saltier side and takes a long time to come out. It was quite funny that the menu had Vietnamese name for the dishes but our server couldn’t understand when we used the Vietnamese food names so we ended up just ordering the food using English description lol

Great ambiance and food choices! The waiter was very slow however and the 5 stars are for the food and location alone.
