Dr Ishimoto and team are professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They really give you a sense that they care about you and your well being. Each step of the examination is explained to you and give you recommendation that best fit you. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

The wonderful staff was able to get me in to see Dr. Ishihara due to a severe and unusual dry eyes. Dr. Ishihara issued a prescription, explained how the medication worked, and what to expect. He also provided a coupon to get a special price. Turns out the medication was not covered by my insurance and would have cost several hundred dollars. With the coupon card I only paid $35.00. Eye Care Associates of Hawaii really looks out for their patients. They have been taking care of my family for over 20 years.

A change of times due to pandemic, limits the patients within the office waiting space. While I appreciate the distancing and cleanliness of entering and exiting, the service has always been friendly and accommodating. Doctors are knowledgeable and help to discuss concerns or issues after analyzing assessment results and examination. The location is limited for the building visitors parking so I park at Ala Moana and walk to the building.

Myself & my wife have been with Eye Care Associates for more than 20 years. They are not only excellent optometrists, but are caring, and are always willing to accommodate our every need. I have been wearing contacts thanks to them for 20 years, and at age 76 still do not have to wear glasses even to read! My wife has had cataract surgery in both eyes and they were wonderful in working with Dr.Tyrie Jenkins during the procedure. I cannot express how pleased my wife & I are with all of their services and staff.

I moved to Eye Care Associates last year when my doctor of many years retired. I'm glad I did! Dr. Arakaki and staff are excellent: pleasant, thorough, good at explaining! They incorporate cutting-edge technology to monitor your eyes and make sure they are in tiptop shape. Their pandemic procedures made me feel confident their office was safe, and I was happy they kept their employees working during the months they were shut down.

As always, great experience with courteous staff. My time with Dr. Jon was great and I feel better now that I've had my eye exam, checked glaucoma progress and ordered new contact lens.

I've been seeing Dr. Ishihara for over 20yrs at ECA of Hawaii, since I was 10yrs old. The equipment in the office is state of the art and dealing with Dr. Ishihara is a joy to say the least. Super cool and fun guy. All of the staff there are extremely friendly. I would highly recommend Dr. Ishihara and this office for all of your eye needs.

Great job! The process used due to the Covid-19 virus was quick and well done. I was greeted by all in a friendly manner.

Excellent service, staff is very friendly. Plan on arriving at the time of your appointment. If you arrive early before the doors are open there is no seating area and you will find yourself standing and waiting for the doors to open.
