Downtown Vision

Dr. Chun and Mia are very nice and professional. I renewed my glasses prescription for nearsightedness/ astigmatism, today and I'm confident that I couldn't have gotten more accurate results. I even got my glasses same day, all in less than an hour. And I saved $75!

Dr. Chun & his wife Mia are great! Friendly and professional they gave me an eye exam and ordered my new glasses. About 5 days later they text me my glasses were ready. Dr. Chun took the time to adjust my new frames to fit best.

Mia and Dr. Chun provided excellent service. They both were kind, patient, and attentive. They made sure that I got all my vision questions and concerns met and explained things in simple terms (not complex). I am definitely coming back and recommending them to my friends and family and will be returning. ?

Went for a routine eye exam, and they are so nice and helpful. Everything was clearly explained to me, and Dr Chun even helped my husband adjust his glasses despite him not getting them there. Super responsive and friendly.

Went to Downtown Vision for a routine eye exam, and would highly recommend Dr. Chun. He explains everything very clearly for you, and even engages you to better appreciate what the various aspects of an eye exam consist of. He was very honest and never tried to sell anything. One of the best experiences I've had with an optometrist.

Dr. Chun was very helpful. Although I never purchased anything, he was offering his services to adjust my sunglasses without charge. I will definitely go there to get new prescriptions and glasses! Mahalo

Lost my glasses in the ocean today 5/13/2021 (I know I should've taken them off before playing in the waves, I dont need salt on the wound) and I searched and called every optometrist in the Waikiki area. They all said that it would be impossible to get glasses before my vacation ends on the 17th.

That wasn't the case for Downtown vision, they were able to work with my insurance and get me into a new pair today in under 2 hours. Not to mention how this was a case of extraordinary luck that they had the lenses in stock.

I am so thankful for Dr. Chun and his assistant for this. 10/10 highly recommend!

Excellent experience. I already had an eye glass prescription but wanted contacts. Unfortunately I do not have eye insurance, though. After calling all over the island I found Downtown Vision. They quoted me a very fair price for the contacts exam and the actual experience was top notch. Friendly staff, clean and modern facilities and good prices. I don't know what else you could ask for. Will be returning for all future appointments!

This Optometrist is the BOMB! The exam was very thorough, Jonathan explained everything, answered every question. Excellent selection of frames too! Highly recommended!

I have been wearing glasses for nearly twenty years. Went here after moving from another city for an eye exam that I was very behind on and to get some new glasses made. Dr. Chun gave me what was easily the MOST THOROUGH eye exam I have ever received by far. He was also extremely friendly and supportive the entire time and explained every step better than any eye doctor I have ever had. And this is coming from someone who has a phobia for anything having to do with my eyes. They also got my new glasses made super quickly and made sure I was happy with them before I left the store. If you need an eye exam or new glasses, this is a no brainer. Go here!
