Caracol Restaurant

Looking for a brunch spot and happened upon Caracol. The experience was unlike any I had experienced. The food was amazing. Everything was hot/fresh. The staff was exceptional. The live music was a pleasant surprise. When I return to Houston, this will definitely be on my list of restaurants to visit.

Wow! My first time eating here, but I promise you, it will not be my last. The ambience, the decor, the white south, the food, all excellent. The food and the presentation was incredible. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a lovely meal. We decided to do all 3 restaurant week menus. We also ordered a few regular menu items. Such a good atmosphere and a fun tasting. The fish was fresh and lovely So much flavor! We will go back. This is a great special dinner place with so much character

Happy Hour is great. Manger has the best mustache and makes his rounds to make sure his guest are enjoying the food. Drinks are good, food is great and parking valet or self parking is easy. Most definitely will be back.

This is one of the few rare restaurants that we go to every year and always pleasantly surprised by the flavors of the innovative dishes. They use good quality ingredients and their service is always great. This restaurant never disappoints. Definitely try their HRW menu.
P.S. bring back the pozole verde!

his is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. The food and drinks are delicious. I found the waitstaff to be very helpful and attentive. I also like the atmosphere and location.

Truthfully I don't know why they don't charge more.

Yikes!!!!!!! The Caracol was so good….it’s scary…. Everything is authentic and made in house, which explains the quality of the food.

The service was also great and I can appreciate the menu being in Spanish with English underneath…. Helps with those of us that are still in training!

The ultimate part was the finale….the dessert…churros, ice cream and hot chocolate which was also all homemade. I have NEVER encountered something so good. I would typically never have hot chocolate and dessert but they complimented each other. The chocolate had no sugar but the churros made up for it!

Wow is all I can say! If you love authentic Mexican food…. This is your next stop!

We decided to splurge for lunch recently. So glad we went to this spot. Two vegan lunch options were shared and they were so delicious. There is also a vegan dessert that is a big, beautiful chocolate ball that is opened with a little hammer. Inside is whipped cocoanut cream that pairs well with the dark chocolate. I Recommend this place when you want to treat yourself!

This restaurant has real heartbeat, the management works the floor and the team delivers. Ashley at the bar exemplifies the passion of the staff. Scallops fresh, perfectly cooked along with a delicious version of roasted cauliflower. Bravo!

I never rate 5 stars, but today it's 5 stars all the way. The carne asada w mole was simply amazing! All the other plates were delicious and even the chips and salsa didn't disappoint. To top it off was the tres leches (I'm kinda an afficianado on this dessert) and it was perfectly prepared and the flan was, possibly, even better. Well done!
