I've had pizza in Chicago and New York! This pizza is a 9/10. I love the fresh basil and arugula on the side. The pepperonis are a 10! There one thing, put a sign outside! I went around the block twice before I figured it out. It's right behind Austin Radio.

Best pizza in Houston. Exceptional customer service in a splendid atmosphere. Authentic wood-fired pizza with fresh ingredients, comes with real parmesan, basil leaves and red crushed pepper flakes on the side. Do not forget to ask for the hot honey ! My favorite is the pepperoni madness and cinquie formaggi .

My review for this place is wayyy overdue. This cute, lively pizza spot is one of my boyfriend and I's favorite places to eat in Houston. There was a point where we were coming every other weekend. The employees here are always so kind and helpful and the pizzas here are always so delicious. The hot honey is so good paired with the pizzas, we ended up buying a bottle from Trader Joe's to take everywhere with us. We love this place so much!!

Probably the best pizza in Houston. Small menu, very well done. Sometimes they have very good wine bottles at a surprisingly cheap price, but the regular wine and beer offerings are decent too. Can take a while to get a pizza at peak hours, so plan on that if you're going at eg Friday evening.

Phenomenal pizza. Highly recommended. Made with sourdough and fresh ingredients, these pizzas at Gypsy Poet are full of delicate flavors and have the right texture of a thin crust wood oven pizza. Oh, don't forget to try to the portobello salad also.
To make the experience even better, they have a fantastic music program with amazing local artists performing on Wednesday evenings. A great spot to visit in Houston wether you are a local or are passing by.

Hands down the best pizza in Houston right now. Its 100% about the crust and they nailed it. Had a couple of pies for dinner with the wife and a bottle of wine.

Lines can be really long during peak times so arrive early. Street parking is also very limited.

Finally got to try this pizza place after hearing a lot about it. It was well worth the hype. We were a group of 5 and had 4 pizzas with ease. There were a good number of vegetarian pizza options too! The marghertia pizza and the dream catcher were a hit. You line up and order your food at the counter and then grab a seat. When we got here on a Friday evening, we had about 20 mins of wait in the line. The service was great, and the food took about 20 minutes. There is no sign, look for the red umbrellas outside. Parking was at the street. The vibe is casual and hip. Definitely recommend this cute spot!

Gypsy Poet Pizza was amazing!! We arrived to a short line. After we placed our order the line was out the door! Pizzas are hand made in front of you. The family/owners were exeptional hosts stopping by our table often to introduce himself, make sure we had everything, ensured us our order was on the way. the restaurant was a little small but there is always somewhere to sit when your pizza arrives. We ordered the Sicilian Journey and the Trouble maker and they were both INCREDIBLY flavorful! Dont forget to try the hot honey on your slice, ticks the flavor dial up about 3 notches and its delicious!

Delicious pizza and a great staff. The owner (I’m assuming) or boss, was sweet. He gave me advice on how to reheat my leftovers. The honey pepperoni pizza was a solid 8/10! $15 for 6 big slices. I’d say it feeds 1/2 people, depending on how much you eat. I ate 3 slices.
