This location is never very busy I like to visit it because it's often empty. Currently has a lot of work going on around it and that may be why. The playground equipment is safe and they have swings where mother and child can swing together. Really easy access for handicap children too.
It's a nice little park. We enjoyed it. The park is 100 secure if you have small kids because is a gate all around the playground area.
Member if the men's golf association that has been going on for generations. Great camaraderie fellowship and great golf. Recommend more Goodfellows to join
Course is in good shape. Lots of renovations going on, should be in great shape in the spring. BREC does a good job here. One of my favorites to play in the city.
My favorite Sunday course right now. Great course and the Marshall's are pretty awesome, they have one grumpy one but he hasn't bitten anyone yet so we keep going back!
Course wet, thanks to the wet winter, but drains well for the mast part. Did not overseed greens, with warm weather Bermuda grass already greening. Fairways thinner than some, but has been improved over the last 5 years, so there's hope.
Course prices very low, especially walking, and course is flat and easy to walk. Good value.
Good golf course. Playground for the children is always fun (8,6, &2). Other programs for adults are available as well like the ceramics class.
Exceeded expectations for the price and being a muni in the middle of BR. Greens were rolling better than some of the other munis and LSU course. A lot of holes that require some shot shaping off of the tee. Good mix of short par 4s and some 550+ par 5s. Will be back to play soon
Great looking golf course. Friendly staff. Good discounts for twilights and 9holes. Walking or riding options
As of 3/24/2016 the course is well taken care of! There is maintenance on one hole, but not a problem. Green are a little burnt, but r very playable. Had a great time.
