Great food with some interesting twists on classic Louisiana dishes. The "gumbolyia" (not sure if i spelled that right) is pretty good in my opinion and with a try.

I've always been a huge fan of the gumbo and it was still good the last time but something's changed and it's not as good as it used to be. Worth an occasional visit at least.

Awesome staff, fun friendly atmosphere. The beer is amazing. Food is great. Rob, our waiter needs to be cloned.

Fantastic selection of beers available (everything from Sours to Stouts and most things in-between). Tasty food, but I'm not as familiar with Cajun cuisine so take that with a grain of salt. A handful of available parking spots in the lot on the south side of the building and there's street parking available on the streets to the north and south. Great staff, fast service, and nice decor.

Food was excellent but, no parking. Had to park 2 blocks away. Notice other people pull in could not find a parking space drove out and kept on going. Too be honest I almost did the same but, my mother and sister wanted to go there. Drop them off found a parking space and started walking

Always delicious, always great service. I hadn't been in since pre-covid and I had a Powerful Need for good Cajun food. Thank goodness for The Bayou!

This place was pretty good but nothing fancy. My husband's meal came with a side salad, it was just plain lettuce. No croutons, tomatoes, cucumbers...just lettuce with ranch. The spinach dip said it came with crostinis but showed up with tortilla chips and my cajun pasta had a chunk of plain French bread. Would have been better with some garlic bread. The beer menu is awesome and I thought the prices were very fair.

I've loved The Bayou ever since my first visit 17 years ago. The food is delicious, the beer selection is the best in Utah, and the atmosphere is perfect!

Oh my!! The food, the drinks, the appetizers, the service! It was all fabulous! A real Cajun experience for sure! The jambalaya and blackened salmon were delectable!

Serving up southern classics like jambalaya, red beans & rice, etc. Ate here twice and both times the food was good with friendly, attentive service. Definitely recommend checking this place out when you're in SLC!
