Originally from being pennsylvania, we thought that there was no chance of finding anyone that made whoopie pies.
And I don't mean filling out of a bag or can with stale old cakes I mean real will be pies and I was pleasantly surprised that I found them here and they were absolutely delicious!
Chef Flemming the owner who is from Denmark ?? he is very friendly greeted me when I walked inside. Ate 1 piece of the sticky pecan bun Tasted great. Gotta stay on the Healthy side of eating clean. Continue Dropping weight. Though, will come back here on some occasions which consists of cheat day’s to eat one of their dessert’s!
I lived in Demark for several years and this is as real as it gets. The breads and pastries are real thing. The things called "danish " in the states are not comparable to the real ones found in this shop.
I'm just sad that they close at 5 because I'm usually not off of work until after 5pm. Otherwise, love it here, a lot of options and the staff is sweet (pun intended).
AMAZING dessert!!! And bread! Love to stop in and get some yummy treats! They have moves a little towards wanting customers to order items they want. So if you really want something like Napoleons 6 or more or a large order of anything then give them a call. They are so nice and they are very reasonably priced. This is a must stop! Unless...it is Sunday...they are closed on Sundays and that happens to be the day I want to go....hahaha
This place is amazing! The people are so friendly and sweet. The lady at the front desk gave me a complimentary cookie for my baby. My teenage daughter came in looking for a job and even though they weren't hiring the owner came out and gave her some tips for finding one, and told her not to give up. It was really sweet. The pastries are amazing! Fresh, handmade, intricate and delicious! Well priced too for what they are! We will keep coming back!
The cake here is always good, and that's coming from a guy who doesn't like cake. But it wasn't my birthday, so we had cake. And their cake is always the bomb. They also have pastries in there that are really good. Hope this helps
Best pastries ever. Cheese danish is my favorite. Love that you can also purchase their pastries at the coffee shop up the street
My mom bought be a blueberry cheese cake for my birthday made to specification and Chef Flemming made an epically delicious cheese!
