Sat at the bar was very nice inside and staff was super cool. Ordered the Judge's Plate. Picked the sliced brisket, pulled pork, and smoked chicken. For my sides I chose baked beans and potato salad. Absolutely delicious! Overall great food and the sauces tasted good as well. Zesty and spicy were my favorite. Warm piece of cornbread with butter & honey would of been cherry on top but still 5 stars all day.
Absolutely the BEST BBQ I'VE EVER HAD!! Burnt Ends melt in your mouth!! Baked beans are so good too!! A++
Q39 is one of my number one stops in KC! I totally love the air in the café and the food is in every case new and astonishing! Such extraordinary consumed closes and the Mac n cheddar is unimaginably marvelous! I generally get the consumed end burger add cheddar and you can't turn out badly! It is a piece on the expensive side as 3 individuals at lunch cost me $100 after tip. So it isn't modest and in the event that I lived in the space I'd likely need to go somewhere else a larger part of the time...but you do must give it a shot when nearby! Top 3 spot without a doubt! Perhaps awesome!!
Hands down, absolutely, great bbq! The wings, burnt ends and brisket are to die for! I had cucumber salad and fries with it and they were equally as good. The staff was friendly and gave good recommendations.

Great food and amazing atmosphere! Visiting from out of town, there was an overwhelming amount of bbq restaurants to choose from. But I am glad we chose Q39.
All members of the staff we dealt with were awesome and the food was even better. Sometimes when you get ribs at other restaurants, you’re essentially eating leather on a bone. Not here. These are the best ribs I’ve ever had. The prices are a bit high compared to other places but the quality of the food and drinks is unmatched.
Their cocktail selection is large and they have a decent amount of beers on tap. If you’re in the KC/OP area, I highly recommend choosing Q39 for one of your meals!
This place is easily the best BBQ around. We came all the way from Wisconsin totally it!!! Trey is also the best waiter ;))
Absolutely Wonderful. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing. Go with the Mr. Burns burnt end sandwich and that wonderful cauliflower with baked in buffalo sauce. Best cauliflower on the planet. OMG. Enjoy.
Service was terrific, but it was downhill from there. The meat quality (brisket, ribs, and pulled pork) was fairly good, though not terrific. The sides were so so (more like a bean soup than KC style baked beans). Better BBQ experience for similar or better prices can be had at quite a few other BBQ joints around the city.
