Vernon's Speakeasy

I really enjoy eating here. The food here tastes amazing and has top notch service too. Our waiter Josh was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and was able to make great recommendations for our table. One of our party had ordered something and it wasn't to their liking. We told Josh about it and he quickly got them something else that they really enjoyed. It's a nice place to get dressed up and dine at a fancy restaurant. It's a whole old-fashioned speakeasy experience and it's fun. It is a bit dark in the there, but that is part of the ambiance. Like all fancy restaurants, it is on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for as the food quality is outstanding. I definitely recommend eating here anytime you want to celebrate something or just want to have a fine dining experience.

My boyfriend and I celebrated my birthday here for the second year in a row and had a wonderful time. Sean was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable - he took great care of us! The food and wine were top notch.

The best 5 star treatment and food I've had in town, just be sure to research the prices beforehand to be aware of costs. I recommend dressing nice for the occasion as it makes the experience fine and memorable!

TO DIE FOR!!! It was an amazing, beautiful, pallet indulging dinner. They made the night special for my partner and I, seated next to the piano and the service was outstanding! I've never had a more enriched steak in my life!

This place was hands down the best date I've ever taken my lady on. I've been to several "speakeasy" restaurants, but no one does it like they do here. It was magical. On top of that, the food and service were divine. In a state that has zero cultural weight on service at restaurants, these folks would shine anywhere in the world. They claim to be one of the most romantic restaurants in the country. In their case, it is no idle boast.

This is definitely a unique steakhouse in Alburqurque .. the ambiance makes it perfect for a date. It is very dark inside and they have live musicians playing music for everyone inside. Because it is dark, it is hard to see the menu if you do not use the QR code to view the menu on your phone. Once you walk in you are greeted by the host who explains the “rules” of the house and you walk through a hidden door to get to your table. The best part of the entire experience was that our waiter, Sterling (who was very nice and professional), explained that pretty much everything on the menu can be customized. For example, their Mac and cheese has ham in it but if you don’t want ham, they can make it however you want. When a restaurant can do that for you, you know every single item is fresh and made to order. The lobster bisque was rich and delicious. Everyone in my party was very pleased with their food.

Amazing experience. From the first knock on the door to getting the check was great. The food and service was outstanding. The staff was very knowledgeable and if they didn't know it, they returned shortly with an answer.

Vernon's was awesome! The sweet potato soup was over the top delicious. Chicken dish was ok, I wouldn't reorder it however. The steak was cooked perfect and the crab Oscar was amazing. They have some really great specials I would highly recommend and the staff is very nice and well presented. The entire atmosphere is extremely well done. The spaghetti squash was delicious as well. Save room for dessert! Also highly recommend the calamari/tiger shrimp. Such an amazing combo! Will be back for sure.

Such a cool, fun experience with great food and amazing drinks. Everyone needs to visit a place like this or Thumbs might come after you! Place is really dark inside, but the live music was amazing. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!
