Title Wave Books

Unanimous 5 star for me. I go here all the time, ever at their previous location since I was a kid. Even though they have comic book novels I wish they had a section where it was actual comic books. Even without that, they’re still the best and deserve 5 stars. Read a book, return it, get some store credit, get another book on a discount from you credit.

2022: downsize has restricted some, mostly the kid section. Seems as if there is more shelf space despite having less shelves. Staff still tries to be helpful.
Impossible to get the books they throw out.

Prior: Always something good for certainly reasonable prices. I have nothing bad to say about this place in the slightest except that it isn't closer to my residence.

They are friendly and kind. I got a book of the first series. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not. I called and asked them if they have the rest in the series and if they can hold it for me. They went and looked instead of looking on the computer. They hold them for me for 2 days. I will keep going back to this place.

You love books? Title wave is a must go to local used book store. The staff is also very friendly and very knowledgeable.

My favorite kind of book store. Everything is well organized and reasonably priced. They often have a little island display with extra cheap books. Ive been there a few time either during or right after an author came 8n for a signing so you can tell the store is involved in the reading community and really promotes local authors especially.

Fantastic selection, I picked up my desired editions of “Beowulf”, the “Canterbury Tales”, and the last two “Dune” books

I love letting the kids pick their own books, and exchange some of our older ones. There is always something for everyone.

Loved how they let me prepay for one book and pickup when we were in Anchorage. Was able to get two other books in the series for my daughter. I could have spent way more time browsing! They had a book I was looking for that was just priced. I was able to buy it! Great customer service.

This is such a delightful bookstore. I would highly recommend to anyone in Anchorage. They had a nice selection of used and new books that were well labeled and organized. They also had a beautiful stationary and journal selection. The staff were courteous and helpful. Next to Yak and Yeti Himalayan food and Kaladi Brothers Coffee.

Definitely a better option then Barnes and noble, you can get the same quality at title wave for half the price typically. The have a lot relating to books that they sell as well and I think they support local artists too but not exactly sure. But they have a good selection of books. The employees there rock! And they have notebooks, books, coloring books, puzzle books, I mean you name it. They even have the coolest kids section. Like if I was a creative kid I'd wanna go to this place everyday. I mean I think about coming here Everytime I get paid. Definitely don't waste your money at Barnes and noble! Go to title wave and live it up there! (Not meant to offend Barnes and noble just saying title wave is personally better in my opinion)
