Hands down the best Ethiopian food in Denver (and one of the best restaurants in the city, full stop). Very unassuming name and storefront on Colfax, but you can't go wrong with anything you order here. Everything is made with love and care and tastes INCREDIBLE. Plus, the owners and staff are kind, calm, and welcoming. They'll give you extra injera for free if you ask, too :)
The food is incredible! Amazing vegan combination plate. If I could eat this everyday, I would. The service was great and I will definitely be back :)

Ethiopian food is definitely a different experience. A very small restaurant with Friendly staff. Has a selection of Ethiopian beers among other things to drink. Food for the table was served family style with ladles of various meats, vegetables, and grains served upon a large injera or bready tortilla. You eat with your hands using the injera to pick up food.

I waited almost 2 years to have the perfect moment that drove me to this place. I was lounging around and thought to myself I want a comforting place with amazing “home cooked” food. I showed up and met the most lovely gentlemen who is taking over the restaurant / family business that his dad started in 1985! That’s beautiful! With the drive from anywhere in the denver metro area but especially if you are looking for hole in the wall colfax hidden gems!

Can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! This was my first time trying Ethiopian cuisine, and it exceeded every expectation. Our server recommended the spicy lamb, which was sensational - as was everything else! Great service and a uniquely wonderful experience! We will definitely be back!
