The only real complaint is there was not enough servers for a busy Sunday brunch. The food was good & the servers were very professional under the strain. Kudos to them ?
Everything is pretty tasty with different seasoning. I especially love the carbonara!!! Very creamy and flavorful! I personally don’t recommend the wagyu beef pasta, since all the ingredients separately are great but the flavors do not come together.
Great food and good seating outside. The waiter was very helpful and had a wonderful personality. Planning on coming back as there were several items that I would love to try.
We ate here for the first time and had a wonderful experience. We started with the ricotta dumplings and they were amazing. 10/10 will absolutely get them every time. We also got the elote as an appetizer. The corn was fresh, the textures were great, and the flavor was so good. We had the stroganoff and burger for dinner and they tasted great. I’m not a mushroom fan, but they need to be eaten in that stroganoff for sure. SO much flavor. We finished off with the chocolate pudding and it was the perfect way to end our meal. Our server, Alexander, was awesome! I actually didn’t catch his name, but that’s what our receipt said his name was, haha. Highly recommend!
I liked the space. Service was nice and cordial. Drinks were good if not a little small volume wise especially the negronis.
The food was tasty however my gripe is the portion size. It the reason this isn't 5 stars. I had the homemade pasta carbonara. While good, it was so small and the price matched what you'd get for almost double the portion elsewhere.
It wasn't just mine I saw someone get the stroganoff and it was just as small.
Admittedly the pork chop at another table did look larger. So it may have just been an order fail.
I needed to order bread ($7) just to get close to fulfilled.
Other than that, I'd recommend just be wary on the portion size. If you're not a big eater, you're all good.
Thoroughly impressed by everything about this place. As a group we ordered nearly every appetizer and each were fantastic. I went with the meatloaf to be different and it was the best I've ever had. It came on a bed a mashed potatoes with fresh green beans smothered in brown gravy. A+ service and friendly atmosphere.
I sat at the bar since the wait was quite long, but that didn't limit me to a specific menu. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend it if you're in the downtown SLC area
I recently went here after it had been a few years. I was floored with how good the service was, the ambience, and the food. My husband and I frequent the small, expensive restaurants around slc and I thought every single dish we ordered at Copper Onion was better than all the more expensive haunts in town.
I came here with some friends for a birthday brunch and had a great time! The mimosas are good and reasonably priced, the patatas bravas are delicious, and the atmosphere is nice. I got eggs benedict and one of my eggs slipped off my plate, and they brought me another whole English muffin half with meat, egg, and Hollandaise. I didn't even ask for it. Really sweet. It was a great experience.
A-MAZING! My son and I went for dinner. They make their own pasta and bread in-house and both were delicious. The drinks were just as tasty as the food. The service was better than I've had in a long time. And if I lived near by I would go weekly. A truly awesome experience.
