Delicious, perfectly moist cupcakes!! The best vanilla cupcakes I have ever tasted! I ordered the almond, vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry cupcakes. All of them had just the right mixture of flavors without being excessively sugary. You can tell the owners enjoy their craft because you can taste the delicate sweetness in their cupcakes. I highly recommend this establishment and will return soon!!

Our wedding cake and cupcakes (4-5 different flavors) from Bonbonnier were phenomenal. It felt like every single one of our wedding guests asked me where we ordered our cupcakes from because they were that good. As a bonus we also used Bonbonnier to provide bonbons as our wedding favors- they were also a hit.

The Bonbonnier is my favorite spot for sweets! I live less than a 3 minute walk, so this place is dangerous. The spitfires are probably the BEST thing they make in house & sell. Sweet & spicy Roasted pecans, gooey caramel, dipped in dark chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt. You’ll never want a basic pecan turtle again, this changes the game entirely! Their cookies are to die for, ESPECIALLY the molasses or peanut butter ones. They have an amazing assortment of cakes, chocolates, baked goods, and more. I quite literally give people their sweets as Christmas gifts on a yearly basis now. I have to stop myself from going more! I will always love this spot

110% would recommend The Bonbonnier to do your special occasion cake!! They did our wedding cake and it was incredible. The cake itself was absolutely delicious and looked exactly like the vision that we had given them. The staff was so kind and easy to work with and the tasting that we had before the wedding was super fun. Use them for your wedding - you won’t regret it!

Nice little shop. Everything is presented beautifully and the lady there was very nice.

We picked up a variety of flavors. Banana foster and dulce de leche were very good. I do wish the fruit flavored ones can be more pronounced in their fruity flavor. Most of them just taste very sweet with a faint hint of whatever fruit it was. It would be nice to have some tartness against the very sweet profile to create some balance.

I love chocolate but I like moderate sweetness. These are mostly very very sweet. If you love very sweet things these are for you!

So unless you do not like candy or baked goods...GO TO THIS STORE IMMEDIATELY!
You won't be disappointed!
They have everything from chocolate bars (or vegan chocolate bars with no dairy!), Cakes, cookies, truffles....all the candy and baked goods!
We tried truffles and a brownie. To die for!
They said that coming soon they will have fresh cinnamon rolls on Sundays! That's been added to the list of must have!

Oh-Em-Gee! Stopped by on Saturday to satisfy my sweet tooth. I got a chocolate chip cookie, an iced brownie, and a slice of carrot cake. The cookie was tasty, but the brownie and carrot cake (pictured) were the standouts! The brownie was huge, moist, and fudgy. I had to eat it in phases because it was so decadent and delicious. The carrot cake was on a whole 'nother level. Admittedly, I had low expectations since CC is my favorite and few people can make a good one. The cashier said it was one of their most popular items, so I took a shot. I was very pleasantly surprised. IT WAS THE BEST CARROT CAKE I'VE EVER HAD! I savored every morsel..returning to the fridge for bite size portions every few hours. I was sad once it was all gone. I will be returning any time I'm in the area.

Truly the best hands down!!!

The Bonbonnier did an absolutely fantastic job with our wedding cake. It was one of the highlights of our wedding, and people could not stop talking about it at our after-party. We picked four flavors for each of our four tiers—almond raspberry, pumpkin cranberry, carrot, and Mexican hot chocolate—and every tier of our cake was delicious. People were literally wrapping extra slices up in plastic and taking them to go at the end of the night. The Bonbonnier also provided cookies, delicious truffles as party favors for our guests, and a “beer & pretzels” chocolate stout groom’s cake that was absolutely to die for at our rehearsal dinner. Lisa and her team at The Bonbonnier were extremely professional and a pleasure to work with during the tasting and on the day of the wedding. If you’re getting married in Hampton Roads, do yourself a favor and check out The Bonbonnier. You won’t regret it!

Amazing store with the best cake and treats you’ll ever taste, served by the sweetest staff around. I always try to stop by when I’m in the area, and definitely think it’s a highlight of Norfolk.
