Best Sushi in Miami! Affordable, and food is fresh. You get 10 pieces of sushi for 55 bucks and you’ll never get that in any other places. Also, uni was so sweet and it’s like melting in my mouth.
Yasu Tanaka is the best sushi chef in the world, he offers a delightful experience, his Omakasee always exceeds my expectations. After you try his food, you will always want to come back.
Best sushi omakase place. Visiting from NYC and have tons of upscale omakas experiences but this Yasu Tanaka is my top choice. Also, Uni was so fresh and delicious
To be honest, I wasn't expecting too much when I saw the price and the food-court setting, but I was very pleasantly surprised! The fish was fresh, everything was of great quality, and definitely worth going.
Amazing dinner, food was prepared with care and ingredients were excellent. Will definitely make this a neighborhood favorite

What a hidden gem! 60 bucks for a full omakase?! This rivals $200 omakases in NYC. So glad we stumbled across this place.
Very fresh produce. Highly recommended. Sit at the bar to have a better experience. The downside is that it’s located in a food court.

Update: tonight after looking forward to Yasu Tanaka all week we were turned away as the group that arrived before us made such a big order that staff had to shut the restaurant down for 45 minutes to accomodate. I can understand this is a small operation, but when you are building a loyal customer base that are willing to travel (over 30 mins in my case) to dine at your restaurant you need to manage your supply chain better than just turning people away.
Now, i can only recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and have a very flexible schedule. Shame as the grub is top
