Sushi Miyagi

Best sushi place of all time, I am a regular there. Always leaving the place filled to the brim. The place is runned by a Japanese couple so the wait will be long (20-30min). I recommend coming during the lunch special hours.

I like it. Not the best sushi in town but very enjoyable. And it’s affordable. Plus it’s a local mom pop shop so eating here, you’ll be supporting a small business!

They have the weirdest hours ever but if you do manage to come here, it’s great. Come early. There’s always a line forming at least 30 mins prior to opening time for lunch. And once seated, the waitress will take orders one table at a time. So please be patient!

My friend and I opted for the lunch chirashi bowl, crunchy salmon bowl and a few pieces of spicy chopped nigiris. Chirashi bowl was definitely a great choice. Fresh fish on a bowl of rice. It’s great for sharing too. And you can’t ever go wrong with spicy chopped scallops! These were huge! And filled with lots of masago! Would definitely order these all the time if I could! The crunchy salmon bowl to me was a little overrated. It’s probably one of their most popular item. And quite frankly, it’s a little pricy ($30) for a lot of tempura bits mixed with salmon. Even though I enjoyed it, I think it’s just not worth $30! Agedashi tofu was great. Lightly fired and the sauce was perfect. Overall, food was pleasant and service wasn’t too shabby. I need to go back for lunch asap!

The best sushi restaurant in houston area. Worth every penny we spent. Be the first three groups to the store to avoid long waiting.

In a world where the dining scene is starting to become repetitive from suburb to suburb, overtaken by chains (reliable and good in their own capacity of course, but lacking a certain mom and pop charm), I'm glad to have found this place. Come here and support this humble establishment. You'll discover more of yourself in the process.

I love this spot. While the outside appearance doesn’t do justice to the quality of food here, you must try this place once if you love sushi.

I have traveled the world for my businesses and have been to Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka multiple times. I must say this is as close to sushi in Japan as you can get - maybe even better than 90% of sushi places in Japan.

While the wait can be long, I think the food more than over compensate for this. This place is my favorite sushi restaurant in Japan and US.

This is a lovely little place but the food taste is very big and very delicious and not overly expensive. Great times were had.

Get there early because the fill up fast. The Dragon Eye Roll is RIDICULOUS GOOD and their Shrimp Shumai is INCREDIBLE! Love this place

This place has a very limited window regarding the time it's actually opened. Very small mom and pop restaurant where the wait could be a little more than expected but this place is a must try in Houston. The fish quality was absolutely amazing and I will be back here to try more from the menu.
