Delicious, wonderful service, beautiful surroundings - we couldn't ask for more. We've relocated to the Texas coast from Atlanta, the land of Ford Fry restaurants galore. We sure miss the restaurant scene there but we're happy to have Houston within driving distance. I especially loved my grilled chicken salad with pistachios and creamy oregano dressing and the shared portions of deviled eggs which reminded me of JCT, the squash salad with pepitas, and the El Fenix enchilada. Oh, and definitely the strawberry field reimagined cocktail.

Modern take on an old world armosphere with Impeccable service! This was our 1st visit and we loved it. The crab claws were amazing and the mains perfectly cooked. But complimentary ginger snaps at the end stole the show. We will be back!!!

It was a wonderful experience, the service was perfection. The waiter was well informed about the menu and each of the courses. The dishes were beautifully presented and had unique flavor profiles. 5 stars!

Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Houston. I’ve been here for normal dining and for private occasions. The service is phenomenally warm and professional. I’ve heard that they hire personality without sacrificing skill and it shows. Everyone from the host to the kitchen is delightful and dedicated to your excellent dining experience. The menu is eclectic and masterfully executed. The bar is equally as skilled at their house recipes and a deep selection of unlisted standard cocktails. I would award State of Grace 10 out of 5 if possible.

Omg!! I was there for Sunday brunch, celebrating a fiftieth. Our servers ("Team T" server 50005, one had fabulous ink!) were amazing!! The whole wait staff was so sweet and polite. And the food was fabulous! Lastly, the place was beautiful!! My family, a party nine, were WELL taken care of. I will be back.

The dinner was delicious. I’d give it a 4.8 - service was top notch. Very attentive and kind. The seasonal peach burrata was delicious, melon and tomato salad fresh, grouper was my favorite - large fish and we shared it. I liked the eggplant but it was friend so did not feel as healthy or a side - very large portion so we didn’t finish. The peach and raspberry dessert was good as well. We loved the gingersnap cookies on the way out! Was expensive, but a great place to have a nice dinner or celebration.

My husband and I’s favorite place for special occasions. The food is phenomenal and so is the service. Thank you to our waiter Kris for a great experience this time! Highly suggest the hush puppies, the street corn pasta and any of their steaks, but everything we’ve had is fantastic.

Came here on a Friday night for a joint bday, 3 of us celebrating. We just had such a lovely time. “Kris with a K” as he instructed us was lovely. He took his time to make recommendations, answer a million questions, take 5,67 photos of us (even showing us a “neat photo trick”) ordered mock champagne for me as a non drinker, and genuinely told us we could stay at his table all night when we moved to the bar (as not to be arses and take his table all night).

What a gem. Kris is a model in service industry etiquette, gracious, kind, patient, professional, friendly, an excellent salesman and a gentlemen. Don’t let him go, State of Grace.

We moved to the bar, the mixologist on staff that evening was more of the same. I’m so sorry I didn’t catch his name, white, with a pompadour. We came at him with that “give me something spicy but not too spicy but kind of sweet but not too sweet with a hint of I have no idea what I want”, BS. Took it like a champ. Made me the most delicious mocktail I’ve ever had with a sweet and patient smile on his face. My girlfriends were happy also. All around a gem as well. You’re lucky to have him.

This place is awesome! Our waitress Valerie was amazing and totally made our experience! Hush puppies- great, pansotti- so tasty, taglaitelle- my favorite, duck- good, green beans- delicious, espresso martini- 10/10 best I have had.
We will be back!
