Salsa Papi (at Morphē)

As a beginner to Salsa, I found this course super welcoming and straightforward to follow (for the basic moves). The course instructors were very patient and kind. For anyone who is not very confident in dancing such as myself, I would recommend this class as it was a very comfortable and fun environment.

What a warm, fun, and welcoming environment! My students loved every moment and it was the perfect amount of instruction for new learners!

The best part was seeing the students take what they learned and apply it in a real life salsa dance setting!

Raúl is an amazing teacher who gives very clear instructions and paces the class perfectly to accommodate both new and slightly more experienced learners. I highly recommend his classes to anyone looking to get into salsa !

I just completed a 10-pack of salsa classes with Raul and my dance skills have improved tremendously in just a few weeks. I am planning to sign up for more classes and keep the momentum going. I highly recommend Raul and his classes for all levels. Raul is patient, kind and really helps you master complex salsa combinations. I started the class a little afraid of turns and now I feel really confident. There is a fun social dancing event once a month where you can practice what you've learned. I would also highly recommend the hip hop class on Tuesday nights at 8pm. The teacher (Natalia) is so fun, energetic and her dancing is on another level. The hip hop class begins with a warm-up that includes isolations and quickly moves into (achievable) choreography. Music is really great for both classes!

Salsa Papi has great classes for many different levels of dancers/experience. Something for everyone! Instructors are amazing dancers and very helpful. Definitely check this out if you’re looking for a new local salsa class.

I called Raul Cabrera to help me make my son's 17th birthday party special last weekend. Raul did just that. It was amazing how Raul was able to get these kids, who had not ever danced at all, actually participate, dance salsa, and really enjoy themselves. Some of the kids have since even asked when we are having the next lessons. We all had a fabulous time. Thanks, Raul!

10/10 would recommend Salsa Papi dance lessons! As a beginner, I took salsa and bachata classes with Raul and Demi, and they are both absolutely amazing instructors. You really can’t go wrong with either of them.

For those of us who are newer to these styles of dancing, Demi breaks down the basic steps in a way that is so fun and easy to follow along. She does an excellent job tracking the class’s skills and knows just how to slow down or speed up the lesson to match where everyone is at.

Then in Raul’s lessons, he shows you how to elevate your dancing by teaching you how to dance with a partner and giving you tailored, specific tips for looking smoother and more confident while moving. Raul’s consistent positive energy makes classes with him such a blast. He is also the most talented lead I’ve ever danced with across genres; he can effortlessly guide anyone, regardless of their skill level or amount of prior experience. Dancing with him is always a guaranteed great time. Because Raul is extremely kind and supportive, he creates a really warm and comfortable environment for learning and improving.

These classes are perfect for anyone who is just starting out or looking to improve their salsa or bachata. Raul and Demi help you master the basics and build confidence in a way that’s really fun and accessible. Classes with them are such a great experience that the time just flies by. By the end of each class, I was sad that it was over and excited for my next lesson!

I would recommend Salsa Papi lessons whether you’re living in Miami or just visiting, and whether you’re by yourself, with a partner or with friends. Try them out and you won’t regret it.
