First time, staff and food were Great. Need to work on Drink selection & Check their prices on Tequila...Ridiculous, No Patron & Wanted too much for Don Julio. You can buy a Bottle of Don for the price of a Double Shot!!!
Great food, Great service. Don't sleep on this Burnch. We were looking for a last minute Brunch spot. Decided to try out Rouj Creole. I reserved a table on there website about 15 minutes before we arrive. Got there 15 minute before out reserved time and was seated immediately. The food service was fadt and the food was served fresh and hot. I feel like this is a better selection of Brunch food and in my opinion a higher class of food. I will return and definitely suggest that you swing by there Sunday for a brunch that yoy won't have to wait an hour to sit down. This has to be the number on secret Brunch spot. There should be a line around the building for this Brunch.
Delicious! Located in Perkins Rowe, the surrounding parking is ample. They have an awesome happy hour with half off starters and reasonably priced cocktails. Though there was an upcharge, I had the best lemon drop ever. The Sensation Salad is simple, yet fulfilling. Great service, Henry!
The atmosphere was really nice, our waiter was awesome and very helpful. I had the Chargrilled Oysters as an appetizer and Salmon with garlic potatoes and grilled shrimp as a dish. Both were delicious. I also sampled a little of their Crab Cake Maison and it was also very good. I would definitely return to try other menu items.

Servers were phenomenal. I enjoyed my dine in experience. Food was good and they were very great with accommodating food allergies. Server Dorian displayed a high level of professionalism my entire visit.
Wonderful service and a trendy, comfortable atmosphere. Their menu has changed since the quarantine. Today, we tried the new prime rib po-boy. It came with Cajun fries and au jus. Phenomenal! I would highly recommend this sandwich. We also tried their apple pie nachos. I was a little reluctant, but our server shared that they are his favorite thing on the menu. He did not lead us wrong! We ate the entire plate!
Update: Rouj Creole continues to deliver southern inspired meals that impress! Today we had the brie appetizer, fried shrimp (which were huge), and the fish grill lunch. All were terrific!!
I really enjoyed myself. The place was packed so I suggest making reservations if you decide to try them out. The dinner was really good, I wanted to try something a little different and I got the PERI PERI QUAIL. I was not disappointed I would definitely order it again. The flavors were rich with a hint of spice and the meal was very filling. For dessert I got the bread pudding, which was delicious, and I’m normally not a huge fan of the dish. So I know we’re to go if I want a good dessert as well. If your looking to try something different and not step too far out of your comfort zone I recommend going to ROUJ.
Food, drinks, and service were all exceptional! Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. We were there celebrating our anniversary and we even got a signed card from the staff!
This is my favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge and I go whenever I'm in town. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the drinks are strong.
