So underwhelming....Emporer's New Clothes perhaps. I've been here before. Nice vibe, UBER hipster. Great customer service, but I definitely get a, "this is a popular place, so the food can be garbage" vibe. The 1st time I came, I was here for brunch, the beignets were pretty good, but the lobster fried rice (one of their more popular dishes) was mediocre at best. It seems like more energy goes into making the food pretty, than tasting good. This time had the deviled eggs -- so chewy because they were fried. We had the fried green tomatoes, which I can only describe as wet. My daughter said they tasted like they had been soaking in alcohol, and not in a good way. Had the lobster Mac and cheese which was reminiscent of urine. And the lobster crawfish wontons, which by far were the best, nice and crispy, but by the time they came, we were just over it. I really do believe this place is popular because it's popular,maybe the drinks are good? I don't know, but my 100.00 tab was definitely not justified. If it wasn't for the customer service, definitely would have gotten 1 star. Shame on them for the 1st time. Shame on me for the 2nd. THERE WILL NOT BE A 3RD.
OH MY!!!!! My husband took me on a date to this restaurant and I have to say he has very good taste. From the service down to the ambiance and the food this restaurant was AMAZING! we went on a night where Chef Calvin himself was preparing the food and when I say it was delicious and tasty, I mean it. Will definitely be returning.

Lobster fried rice is great
Ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was to die for!! The outside had a meatier texture & the inside was so flavorful and soft. The sauce was the perfect consistency and it was a unique combination of flavors. The quail egg was the perfect topper and the artichoke was tasty as well. I will definitely be returning to try other items!
