Wasn't sure what to expect, but from the signage outside and the reviews, it sounds like this Mediterranean restaurant was highly recommended! I was not disappointed! The hummus was the best I've ever had. Definitely going to make return visits when I go to San Luis Obispo.
The only downside is, just like all places in San Luis Obispo, parking can be difficult during lunch hour.
It has good middle eastern food. Pickled turnips available on condiment bar, so that is a plus. Pita bread very good. Nice place for a quick lunch.
Great selection of Greek food, award winning pizza, too. Affordable pricing and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Limited dessert options but they're enjoyable.
So yummy and fast. I am so glad we didn't have to deal with a server. Great beer by Barrelhouse, Sunny Daze. Best pizza in town.
I went there in afternoon and it wasn’t crowded but still really liked the vibe. You go inside order your food and find a spot to see. I ordered lamb shawarma with rice and salad! Came with warm pita bread and everything was good. Definitely recommend this place!
Delicious food! Prices are decent ($13 for a meat plate and $17 for a filling two-kebab plate). Lots of sauces to add and kebabs are fresh and juicy. Gyros and pitas are dry, avoid them. Pizzas are great. Fries are good but very salty. And there's a nice selection of taps and lots of fridges of beer.
We were invited here by some friends, we accepted. In all the years I have lived in SLO, I had never been. I will say, I had heard great things about Petra, and I knew they had lamb (I love lamb). Needless to say, I was not disappointed. The food was marvelous, and the prices were reasonable, the staff friendly and the service quick.
Absolutely love this place! The kabobs are so flavorful served with hummus, tatziki, and pita! Never had a bad meal here!
