Oceanside Harbor Village

Camping in the harbor with my little teardrop trailer. Backing in is not allowed. If trailer stays connected to car, you just pay for one. The spots on the outsides are typically long enough for my car and trailer, but spots in the middle are not (short by mere inches) so I needed to pay for two spots. The machine has been updated to have you enter your license plate for your parking permit, so no trading off cars when friends visit. You aren't renting a spot but renting for a specific vehicle. There are no reservations. Many arrive days early for labor day weekend but two of us were able to get spots waiting until 9pm on Friday night when some who were there for just the day left. No tent camping. Mostly RVs, and the generators got loud for friends in pop-ups. Sound wasn't too bad in my wooden trailer, but I also wear earbuds to listen to music at night. There's a deli/store steps away. Restrooms, the outdoor beach shower, plus all of the restaurants and shops in the harbor in walking distance. There is also kayaking in the harbor. Some rode bikes just outside the harbor where there is a gas station and a Dennys which might be as much as a mile away, but one could walk there. You can hear the sea lions and smell the salty somewhat fishy air on the Harbor side. I love it! There is a lot of sand. There is plenty of space on the beach mainly because there isn't sufficient parking. There is a free parking lot near the shops at the harbor, but it seems further when carrying all of the beach stuff. Many drop off family and stuff and then go park. Guests for people camping also frequently park in the free parking and walk over.

Lots of boutique shop. Lots of restaurants. Lots of boat and fun things to do. Lots of water activity like jets skis,kayak and boating.

The Oceanside Harbor is a hidden Gem in Oceanside. It's great fun to walk around the harbor and look at all the different boats and activities happening in the harbor. There are numerous places to eat and grab a drink while out and about. Parking is seldom a problem and in most cases it's free. It's a great way to spend an afternoon or evening by the water.

Gives you peace of mind it's beautiful clean beaches or clean pure better than San Diego I shouldn't say that

Fish and Chips shop has the freshest, crispiest fish and chips. Selection of beers. Very friendly young blonde guy being super helpful and patient with our ordering. Super chill. Big portions! Nice ambiance eating at picnic tables with umbrellas right the boat dock. Lots of boats. Cute sarong, hat, clothing, nicknack portable shop to buy a souvenir from.
You get 2 hr free parking near the restaurants if you eat at one. Beach is just at the end of the dock. Pay with debit card and possibly cash (not sure on cash). $4 per hour or possibly a discount for more hours. Just came to eat and watch the beautiful sunset. $4 can't beat it.

Variety of Food to eat. Great place to walk around eat, drink and enjoy the day! So pretty and the pier and beach ⛱️

Beautiful peaceful a great place to go breath fresh air. A few shops, not too expensive and a really great fish and chips place. I come every time I am in the area

Absolutely LOVE sitting at the waters edge and having lunch. The atmosphere is great and the view can't be beat!

Super cute spot to stop for a bit of shopping, have an encounter with dolphins and enjoy some yummy food and drinks ?

Nice, Quaint shops and restaurants. Sometimes my wife and I like to go, get a coffee and watch the people and boats in the harbor. Always a pleasant time and often meet interesting folks.
