Natural History Museum Of Los Angeles County

It's always a nice feeling when you can go to somewhere as a biologist, hear the same messages they would tell people on the outside of the science world, and get reinspired with your field all over again. Truly an incredible place - I found the video in the geology room in the gems section the most moving - absolutely must make sure you take the time to watch it ?

museum. We come here often. Love the EV chargers (no additional charge). I loved the Jane Goodall exhibit when it was here, and the butterfly pavilion is amazing!

A pretty good museum. Was surprised by how large it was on the inside. A good mix of new and modern exhibits along with the old classic dusty displays and dioramas. There were a few modern interactive activity areas for the kids but since those spots were few and far between they tended to get crowded. A couple of areas were roped off (for renovations it seemed) but unfortunately they didn't update the maps or guides to make that clear. The gift shop was ok and full of standard items. Parking can be a challenge if you are not familiar with the area, though there is public transit immediately adjacent if that is convenient for you. Don't know if there is enough here to justify a membership, but it was a fun (half a day) experience.

You will surely remember this museum from the funny movie A Night at the Museum, with Ben Stiller as the protagonist.

But it is worth seeing for the collection of dinosaurs, the gems and stones, the collection of different cultures and being able to contemplate the large number of animals, many of them extinct or about to become extinct.

The pity was when I googled if they were animal replicas, and discovered that they were donated animals. From that moment I stopped photographing them.

I recommend seeing this museum because it is really worth it. We also did it with the Sightseeing pass

Seguramente recordarás este museo por la divertida película Una noche en el museo, con Ben Stiller como protagonista.

Pero vale la pena verlo por la colección de dinosaurios, las gemas y piedras, la colección de diferentes culturas y poder contemplar la gran cantidad de animales, michos de ellos extinguidos o apunto de extinguir.

La pena fue cuando busqué en google si eran réplicas de animales, y descubrí que eran animales donados. Desde ese momento deje de fotografiarlos.

Recomiendo ver este museo porque realmente vale la pena. También lo hicimos con el Sightseeing pass
