This has to be a top 3 burger I've ever had. Patio seating only for now, but I'm glad this owner has figured his way through this pandemic.

Max's is easily my favorite burger joint in town.
The guy that works front desk is always rude to me, hopefully he is nicer to others. The food is really good, I was going to boast about their lower then average prices but it has gone up since the last time I've been here. The onion rings and fries are really good I highly recommend them. If you're here for the food and not for the company I'd recommend eating here.

New owner took over in 1986. I stopped in and was not disappointed. Only one customer is allowed in at a time. The owner hits a buzzer and lets you in. You place your order and he fixes it and then brings it out to you. He then buzzes in the next customer. This was put in place due to local covid restrictions and lack of help. Currently its a one man show. The owner of this resturant figured out how to adapt and overcome. As I sit here writing this in his parking lot a steady stream of customers are waiting patiently for their turn to go in and place an order for an kickass cheeseburger. MAX'S will get a 5 star from me on Google Maps. #SupportSmallBusiness #supportlocal
My favorite burger in KC. This is a truly underrated gem that is family owned and operated. Max's Burgers & Gyros has a ton of similarities to the cartoon Bob's Burgers the most important of which is they make the best burgers.
This burger was fantastic, absolutely nailing the classic American cheeseburger. I highly recommend trying them out! Great and friendly staff. Thanks
No salads, and not cheap, but if you're looking for a gyro sandwich and fries, this is a great choice. Possibly the best tzaziki sauce in town.
