Had a wonderful time at this location. Francisco, our waiter, was very attentive and friendly. He made it very memorable by giving me a double portion of Kahlua Cream Cake FREE! Thank you so much! Steve and Doug from Phoenix!
Update:
We returned recently and I had the French Dip sandwich with a bowl of their tasty vegetable soup. Loved the sandwich. Great service with a smile. We enjoyed their delicious cornbread appetizer as usual. My husband loves their salad bar.

Good service. Glad the salad bar is back. The veggie soup was good, but the beef stroganoff was so-so with weird little cubes of meat...it used to be quite good.
Went for desserts. Restaurant was empty. We were greeted and sat immediately. Staff was friendly and helpful. MC pie was exactly what we needed. In and out in 15 min. There was an old vintage feeling while here. Although it may appear outdated to young people, for myself, it took me back to when I was younger. I miss MC, and I forgot how much until I had my first of the double cream blueberry pie.
Marie Callenders makes fruit pies and cakes that both look appetizing and taste satisfying. They are not loaded with sugar which we appreciate. You can appreciate the fruit flavor. We purchased the strawberry pie for a friend who loved it. A little pricey but good.
We came around 8pm on Saturday and was seated right away. Our waiter was super friendly and decided to give us both a cup of soup on the house(the salad bar was closing and they had extra food). It was a nice lil surprise considering how expensive going out is now.... My boyfriend and I both ordered the beef stroganoff and fried green beans. They were both killer!! We got the 2 can dine deal-choice of appetizer or 2 soups/salads, (2) entrees and 2 slices of pie! We love the famous cornbread with the sweet butter ?
The dining experience was a bit dated and sleepy, but it was serviceable. The food was average American Diner fare. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again but I'd go here if taken.
It’s been years since hubby and I been to Marie’s since we moved 2hrs away. We WERE going to sushi next door till we discovered they were closed for lunch so hubby wanted Marie’s. Great customer service by our server Jen who was on the spot with our refills and the cornbread was AWESOME. I’ve never been a cornbread person and Marie’s I can get used to. The chicken pot pie was….ok. Nothing to brag about. I liked Mimi’s cafe potpie better which is why I could only give this place 4/5 stars. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn’t give that option. As expected, good food, great service and decent price.

Went there for dinner tonight and it couldn't have been a nicer experience. The hostess was so friendly. She helped my mom use that mini elevator. She was a joy! The waitress was just as nice. I had a few questions about the menu and she helped me to decide what to order. We had the pot roast and French dip, both of which were delicious. Will definitely go back.
Stopped in to try the place after getting a coupon in the mail. Really enjoyed it. Food was good, including the salad bar, and the service was good too. We’ll be back.
