Addictive! Everything is delicious!

I found the service excellent. To the people complaining about service not being “American” enough — you get the authentic cultural experience. Relax. Meet the staff half way. Not everyone has to be cheery all the time. As a European living in Virginia, I appreciate the culinary and cultural diversity that La Brioche offers.

In terms of the prices, I think they are very reasonable for the labor that goes into making a croissant or anything else. Just go on YouTube and research how long it takes to develop a good handmade/homemade pastry. If you think it should be cheaper, try making it yourself and see how that goes :P or just go to Harris Teeter and buy flaky pastry and make a croissant yourself. I’m all for paying a higher price if it makes the business stay afloat and pays a good wage so that the staff can thrive.

Excellent authentic sourdough bread.

La Brioche is a 10 !!! Everything is fine. Friendly staff. Great pastries. Beautiful place. Opens real early when everything is closed in Norfolk.

I like this place but it’s pretty pricey - def the most expensive baked goods in the area. Yesterday was the first time we checked out the second floor, it was cute but so sunny that it made us uncomfortable after a short while and we had to leave. It would be nice if they had a complimentary water stand/station - again, because it gets so insanely hot upstairs and the first floor is just as sunny. The place is easy to spot and I never have problems parking.

We got a few items from here. The chocolate almond croissant was sooo good. My son fell when he got out the car, because there was a manhole from the water company that they didn't put the metal top back on right. He got scratched up pretty good. The lady inside was so nice and helpful. She brought him a bag of ice and just was awesome! The picture is of the apple crumble.

Decent latte, GREAT treats, I feel privileged to have this place to go to.
Great ambience. Great staff!

Customer service was amazing and quick! These ladies are extremely pleasant and know what they are doing in the kitchen, I will definitely be back!

Please get here early because some of the items will not be available because people will eat them all. Other than that excellent pastries for a good price

Absolutely amazing. So many choices, so much authentic amazing French pastries and breads. Well worth the prices!

Everything was fresh and Delicious! This is def a nice spot to explore new and old fashion desserts, I would have ordered more but Im def coming back? Give it a try, you wont be disappointed! And the Service also was excellent!

I found out about this bakery from IG. Nice location with no problem finding parking. The wonderful smells hit you as soon as you open the door. Everything looks fresh and homemade. So far I've only tried the croissants and fruit tarts and they were delicious and fresh each time. All of the employees are friendly and gave me great customer service even though they were swamped. They are a little pricey, but the quality and service are worth it.
