Great place with great food!! Has better music than most clubs. Our server Phong was quick and skilled, delivering our food steaming hot!! The small bowls are great with appetizers, will be coming back!!
Pictured : the most delicious appetizer, the takoyaki!! eat it while its hot!!

Great ramen. Authentic Japanese taste! The staff was very knowledgeable about the food and gave great recommendations of what goes well with the dishes. Would definitely go again!

Came here the night before my final exam of medical school hoping for some relaxation before my big day-- I found just that.

I've been coming here for several years so want to cover a few things.

First of all, I want to give a huge shout out to our waitress, Brisy. Both my girlfriend and I have worked in different restaurants so we don't tickle pick up on great service. Brisy was amazing from the start. She greeted us cheerfully and was eager to help. She noticed immediately when there was trash or empty plates on our table and picked them up before we even realized. When my gf was missing her soft boiled egg in her soup, Brisy noticed immediately and fixed it within minutes. It was like she was reading our mind the entire time and even offered to bring the check at the exact time we were about to ask. Brisy deserves a raise or employee of the month or something! She was awesome!

Secondly, I freaking love Houston. Jinya is a chain and I actually visited one in DC one time as I was craving ramen. DC DOES NOT COMPARE TO HOUSTON. Houston just does every food category better, even when it's the same chain.

We had vegan Gyoza for apps and it was fantastic. I liked it best without any sauce. The Spicy Chicken was my entree and it was so flavorful. The type of dish were the broth could stand completely on its own. Any of their spicy ramens are amazing.

Give Brisy a raise!

Incredibly solid and not over priced. Very happy with what I got. Got the JINYA Tonkotsu Original 2010. The egg was the best part and the thick noodles where great.

Great place! My first ramen restaurant and it was very tasty. I read previous reviews about the tonkatsu being spicy and wish I had added extra spice. Extra egg is a must and they’ll bring you sriracha if you ask.

My server Jose was great. He noticed I was a little short on time so he had my food brought out very quickly, checked in on me when I didn’t have my mouth full (I appreciate that) and promptly brought my check. Thank you Jose!

Phong is one of the best servers to have. I feel he just gets it. Knows when to show up keeps bringing chili bomb service

Now that’s some good ramen!
Very loud inside. That’s the only negative

Great vibe with great food! The waiters were friendly and very attentive to everyone. Their crispy chicken is delicious and everyone enjoyed their ramen. We had the tonkotsu spicy ramen and the spicy chicken ramen. They are the perfect portion and delicious! Be sure to try their mojotos!

Eric was the sweetest server i have ever had. He was so kind and attentive. He put a smile on our faces the whole time we were in the restaurant. We left him a $30 tip on $59 I refused to leave him any less! The food was amazing but beware of the shrimp ramen because they add shrimp oil in it and it tasted very fishy so i opted for shrimp tempura instead and it was great. Eric told me next time i can get the shrimp ramen without shrimp oil so it won’t taste as fishy. The gyozas and fried chicken bites were delicious. I will definitely be back.
