Amazing family day! Got to see all kinds of great projects and talk to amazing working on incredible things.

We visited as part of the annual Friends and Family Open House. If you are able to get here, do it. The wonders of space exploration are simply great.

With much more than 5000 full time energetic, smart, and passionate-about-space engineers and scientists, this unique NASA center hums like a college campus.

Seeing the Space Flight Operations Facility in person is an absolute MUST for any space enthusiast. Seeing the Spacecraft Assembly Facility in full action with the next generation of orbiters is incredible.

Super cool experience to visit JPL and learn about space missions and how they bring back so much information about space and our planetary system!

"Determining the response of sea level to atmospheric pressure" by Gregory Pihos (NASA Jet Propulsion Lab) A study using Topex/Poseidon data with inverted barometer (IB) about the rise and fall of sea level... suggests with proper removal of the effects of wind forcing the IB effect is valid in most of the open sea at periods longer than 20 days and spatial scales larger than 500 km.
