The food and atmosphere are absolutely wonderful! They have so many specialty items and things I want to go back and try.
We went for the barbecue, and it was delicious! I got the brisket sandwich with potato salad as seen in the picture, I recommend both. The store has a wide offering of both food and desserts, as well as little western knick knacks. I will be coming back!
Combo plate with many sides. The four of us were all in agreement that the entire meal was unique and delicious. We are from Indiana and Minnesota and will be raving about this meal for a long time.
I loved it here. The inside of the premises was clean and tidy. The food was flavorful, tender, and juicy. The seasonings were pretty much perfect. A little peppery for my taste buds but otherwise it was really good. Friendly staff. I highly recommend if your in town.
Jalapeño cheese sausage is just right...it has that snap when you first bite down, and then the crumbly feel of home-made sausage afterwards. Mac and cheese had a lot of sauce....but that wasn't a bad thing, as I dipped the half-chicken in the extra. I wasn't a huge fan of the broccoli salad, but that may be personal preference....this one had a Lot of mayonnaise, to the point where you didn't taste much else.
Atmosphere is interesting....it feels like they're trying to be one of the country stores you find along the back roads going to Austin. You can buy pickles, jelly, margarita mix, and a bottle of tide to get rid of the grease stain you got from holding the chicken in your bare hands. It's almost too much for the small space....
We walked out with most of our tres leches uneaten....not because it was bad, but because there is only so much one girl can eat. The bites I had were good....but I am still a die-hard el bolillo tres leches fan. This one had white frosting on the top and I prefer whipped cream.
Excellent place in the local community. Away from the hustle & bustle. Their bbq and mango cider was a hit
Excellent BBQ and other items on the menu were just as good. Nice meat counter as well as nice assortment of gifts and 7nique items to take home. Really quite a charming place
This place is a winner!! The breakfast sandwich on their scratch biscuit is amazing and so it the almond bear claw (coming from someone who doesn’t like almonds)
