Hair House ATX

I recently moved from Chicago and was in desperate need for a new colorist. I ended up seeing someone that left harsh bleach lines and damaging my hair after balayage. I saw Chelsea yesterday and expressed my concerns on seeing the lines and damage done to my hair. She did a reverse balayage to remove the lines and a treatment to hydrate some of the damage. I almost started crying when I saw the finished product. She is a miracle worker. On top of transforming my hair, she was straight forward and honest on what needed to be done to achieve the best result. I am over the moon with the results and had the pleasure of Ricky (Ericka) doing the best blow out and styling I have had to date. Thank to everyone at Hair House ATX for being understanding and accommodating to my hair crisis. Special thank you to Chelsea and Ricky for making me feel like myself again. You have gained a permanent client and your biggest fan!

Ethan, @theirhair, has quite literally changed my life! I get complements on my cut and color regularly! We've found a style that works for me and my features, and he is a literal gem of a human to work with! So kind and fun, I will follow him forever

Best Hair salon, co-owners, and team EVER. I’ve been seeing Tyler for over 3 years now and haven’t let anyone else touch my hair here in Austin - it would be a crime to. Throughout the years we’ve gone short, long, blonde, purple, back to short and everything in between and I quite literally trust him with my life. Besides the pure talent of everyone that they hire, they are also the kindest and open minded group of humans. The experience is beautiful, curated, authentic, and sincere - I can’t recommend this place more

Toni and Tyler are absolutely AMAZING. I had been going to a well known salon in Austin and was always happy enough with my hair but my friend's hair was always just so fresh, and perfect for her. So I finally made the switch and started to go see Toni based on my friend's recommendation and I cant imagine ever going anywhere else. She truly understands what tones, styles, and colors go best with my face shape, hair color, and eye color. When I show a look that I am going for she always is honest if that is the best for me or if we should tweak it a tad at what is best for me and she always nails it. I just love the energy the second I walk into the space, it truly just makes me happy. I have recommended several friends to Hair House who now also just "get it" once you find the right hair person for you.

What a great experience! This is the first salon I’ve been to since moving to Austin & I really loved it. It’s a very laid back, stylish environment and they play good music. My stylist, Nicky, did a beautiful job on my hair. I got micro bangs which was scary for me but she made me look good (& was super encouraging along the way) and I’m definitely going back for more haircuts! ?

Just do it. This place is just the best. The people who work here are literal artists and I believe there’s not a single employee here that isn’t highly skilled at what they do. Not only will you leave with the best hair of your life but the whole experience there is a real “treat yo self” kind of deal. Toni always has me walking out feeling like a brand new person ✨

Hair House is the best of the best, and every single person on the team is so friendly and cheerful. Love the vibes and decor, but of course, most of all, I love my cut/color from Kelcey. I either get an all-over color or a roots touch-up, and it's always perfect. She always knows exactly what to do with my frizz and dead-ends and I always leave 1000% satisfied. Love her and love Hair House!

I have been seeing Tyler ever since he was working at another salon and then took initiative to start his own business. The first location was in East Austin and now moved to the West Sixth Street District. Success has blossomed for Tyler and happy for him. He is truly a master pro hair stylist and very knowledgable about hair products … like a cool rockstar with shears as hands.

As you arrive you enter a bungalow house full of rock & roll trinkets where rooms have been transformed in styling stations. You might find trouble finding parking but recommend the Park ATX app to quickly pay when you find street parking. Or use ride sharing or e-scooter here. There is now a receptionist to greet you and offer a refreshing complementary beverage as you wait for your hair transformation.

The salon is professionally run and as for Tyler he always works with my hair with tenderness and care while either washing or cutting giving me a new updated look making me feel good. He also provides tips on how to take care of my hair so it will keep looking good.

His popularity has grown where now seen on popular streaming shows and social media postings, so depending on what service you want may have to schedule him months a head of time. Hair House ATX also has other excellent stylist to choose from too and a place to make you feel at home.

I’m not from this area but if I was I would go to Ethan religiously! Ethan was incredibly open to learning about my hair goals and asked a ton of follow up questions to make sure I get exactly what I want from this haircut. He was friendly and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. In addition Hair House ATX is such a cool salon with amazing decor (and they offer you a complimentary beverage upon arrival!) I highly recommend this location and if you’re looking for a great haircut go to Ethan!

Loving this place! Just moved here from NYC and needed to setup my go to stylist. So I made an appt with Kalyn and she did a great job framing my face with some new funky highlights! She’s a sweetheart and I definitely recommend her! Plus they have a great music playlist. All around fan. ? I will now be a regular.
