Super delicious. Great vibes and you can tell the food is authentic by the other patrons eating there. Great prices and very courteous service.

Very friendly owner. Amazing homemade chapati. I would recommend ordering ahead. It is well worth.

Halal beef samosas, mishwak toothbrushes and a pretty scarf. There was an area for prayer. There was construction going on. Alterations done in store too. For clothes.

This was my first time going to a Somalian restaurant, and my mind was blown. The chapati with beef was amazing. Great environment with friendly staff. Will definitely be back!!

Chapati and chicken with beans is one of the good ones. My go to though is simple rice and chicken. Comes with banana and tea or choice of drink. Definitely coming again!!

I live there food very tasty the rice is awesome and the goat is delicious and good I highly recommend to try this restaurant and the chai is tea is out of this world. 10 out of 10

Kamal is amazing. He will treat you right and give you the food your body craves. I came in in a flight from Atlanta. Had not eaten a decent meal since 4 am eastern time, you do the math, that's alot of hours. Kamal was friendly, knee I needed a great meal. He gave me a meal that I scarfed down, yes it was that tasty. I would definitely come back here again. 5000 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

They have so many variety of delicious food, just to name a few, fish, goat meat, beef, chicken, and many more delicious recipes. Hands down the best Somali restaurant in the areas. I came down here to Salt Lake City from Minneapolis and there are a lot of Somali restaurants in Minneapolis but none can be compared to Global Somali restaurant, I highly recommend anyone in the area to check this place out. You won’t be disappointed I promise. Enjoy deliciousness ?

Don’t let the outside deter you. The menu is pretty simple but delicious. We had the fish and rice (omg that fish was fried perfectly and the seasoning was delicious), KK with beef (reminds me of beef chow fun in that they use chapati bread as the noodle so it’s similar in size/thickness) and sambusa (I prefer the chicken over the beef). That green sauce is AMAZING and just enough spicy. It’s counter service and you pay after you eat. The chef’s son? was so gracious and welcoming. He made the experience so pleasant and answered all our questions.

This is my first time in Salt Lake City and first time having Somali food. I’m excited to try more!

PS. Don’t forget to eat the banana as you’re eating your meal. It’s the Somali way.

5/5. When it comes to the taste of the food, all I can say is wow. I had the fish and chicken plate with rice and 2 sambusas for $19 total and big portions. This is some of the most local and authentic foods I've ever had in the US from a another country's cuisine. The food is bursting with flavor and very authentic. The guy that owns/cooks is a cool dude too once you start talking to him. Highly recommend!!!
