Obviously a must-see when in the area. We went on a Sunday and it was packed with families. Get there early for parking. While the paved paths around the rocks were nice, we opted for the less-popular outer trails. Better views, significantly less people, trails easy enough for kids. Just pack your water.

Visitor center had interesting information and a movie on the Rocks. There is a Café in the visitor center.

PSA -- Lots of people with dogs on almost 100° day. The pavement is hot! Their paws burn! Put some boots on them or something and take lots water. Also, mind your breed. A couple was walking into the park with 2 dogs as we were walking to our car. They were carrying their husky and dragging their malamut back to their car on our drive out. Leave your snow dogs at home in the summer!

As the sun rises and the clouds start to clear. A vast landscape is revealed. Towering spires that look like darts thrown by Giants stick up from the ground giving you an inferiority complex. The air, while thin is still crisp and breaths life into a desolate environment. Visit this beautiful vista it's free and pet friendly

I loved the short hiking trail that starts from nature center. I really felt like I was in a sacred place.

Garden of the Gods is one of our favorite places to visit. I’d recommend to get there early (by 830 or 9am) to sign up for tours and see the sights before the roads get busy with tourists. Around 12-1pm the roads started getting busy. Additionally, I’d highly recommend a tour!

Another experience of God's work on earth. Simply breath taking. Drive, hike or bike through this gorgeous area.

Part of the visitor center is like small museum with exhibits. There is a gift shop and information desk when you get good info on the garden of the gods. The cafe has limited menu and you are better off visiting the trading post nearby. Ground floor also has a theater which we didn't go.

Very educational and reasonably priced. Rock formations are beautiful. You can not miss this place while visiting Colorado Springs.

Garden of the Gods is one of those places that needs to be seen to truly understand its glory. It is absolutely breathtaking. The trails are meticulously maintained and most are handicap friendly, which is a rarity when hiking. For those with extreme limitations, most of the park can be seen by vehicle. Parking filled up fast so I recommend going early.

I would say hands down the best City park in the country. One of the most amazing geologic formations on the earth. Always worth a visit.

I have been several times but not since 1999. This is always a beautiful and amazing place to see. The Visitors Center as well as the Trading Post are not to be missed.
