My interactions with the staff and doctors at Eyesight Hawaii are the perfect balance of professional and personal. I know I’m receiving top-notch medical care while made comfortable, at ease and, most importantly, listened to and heard every step of the way - whether it’s a routine check up or being prepped for laser surgery. It’s a rare skill for a team to possess and even rarer for it to be so seamless as to be almost unnoticed. Much mahalo to everyone at Eyesight Hawaii!

Dr Kristen Hirabayashi, Dr John Olkowski and the staff at Eyesight Hawaii have been excellent in the care and concern of my vision issues for many years. The darkness and double vision problems I had recently experienced disappeared immediately after my cataract surgery performed by Dr. Hirabayashi. I highly recommend their medical services.

I’ve seen both Dr. Hirabayashi and Dr. Olkowski for several years now. They and their staff are very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I appreciate the fact that they are open some Saturdays which makes it easier to book an appointment around my work schedule.

Dr. Olkowski, slim, straightforward and confident, the kind of surgeon you would give your eye for a delicate procedure. He explained what my condition is “corneal edema post cataract surgery” like a teacher you've always listened to, clearly, precisely and gently, what caused it and the options to deal with it. He said the cause was surgical trauma using excessive ultrasound, by another surgeon in Liliha who did my cataract. I definitely would recommend him to all, but more so to those I love most because your eyes are everything, you need them treated by the best ophthalmologist there is, Dr. John Olkowski.

I picked EyeSight Hawaii to have laser eye surgery done. What sealed the deal for me was the great customer service, I could really feel they cared about providing a great experience. I love the office layout and atmosphere and the staff is wonderful. In fact, I love EyeSight Hawaii so much that when I had a change in insurance company and plan, I made sure I stuck with them.
