Food was fresh picture perfect, was excellent in flavor, authentic in taste. Pricing was perfect quality service; Friendly welcoming restaurant.

This was my first visit to El Granjero and I really enjoyed it. It was nice seeing a lot of vegetarian options, but they were not vegan as a lot of cheese was involved. The salsa made in house was very good. Cactus was featured in quite a few of the dishes. We had tried the nachos, torta, wet burrito, and vegetable combo. The interior was very clean and the furnishings are utilitarian. The staff was very nice and had a pleasant attitude even though it was kind of busy. The food came out reasonably quick. We'll be back!
If there was a GR foodie dictionary entry for fantastic food and beautiful people who always make your experience more than just getting a meal, it's this place. Go. Here. Now.
We were visiting the area from out of town and were looking for an fair priced filling meal for a lunch. We did a quick search for Mexican food near where we were, and boy, are we glad this came up! We cannot recommend it enough! Everything was delicious and the two folks who served us were very attentive, polite, and accommodating for our two babies with us. Our only disappointment was that there wasn’t white cheese dip on the menu, but I’ve found that is less common in the area. I had the enchiladas with their mole sauce and it was buttery, nutty, chocolately, and just the hint of heat. Highly recommend!
Had them cater our wedding and it was a big hit!! The people are so nice and friendly and they took great care of us. The food is absolutely incredible though! Whether just going there for lunch or the catering they did...it's all SO good.

El Granjero Mixican grill is my goto place when I travel from Lansing to Grand Haven. I love the wet burrito with extra red sauce. One of the best red sauce I have hade. Easy to get to from the highway.
This was my first time trying this place out.
Long story short... it was prompt service, and good food.
They even had Jarritos soda pop.
That stuff is good, and uses real sugar, and comes in a glass bottle. (Which is the best way to enjoy soda pop, in my opinion).
All in all, I can't find any fault with anything during my visit.
So, I see no reason not to give the full 5 stars.
