For authentic Hue cuisine, this is the place to be!!! They have a variety of really good dishes. The Bun Bo Hue is to die for!!!

Unique Banh Beo (rice cake w/shrimp toppings). We ate a lot of banh beo in Orange County and Vietnam and this one stood out. The shrimp filling for this banh beo used shrimp paste instead of dry shrimp. The banh beo's thickness was just right and it was chewy. We tried Bun Bo Hue too and it was alright. The broth was not as flavorful. Overall I recommend banh beo here.

The food is delicious, she is very enthusiastic and attentive .

Đồ ăn rất ngon, cô rất nhiệt tình và chu đáo .

This is very different place then other Vietnamese restaurant. I can find my home town food here and they are delicious. Except the “banh bot loc” the flavor was tasty but the both times I had “banh bot loc” there, they were too chewy. But I still like this place a lot for other dishes.

Store is quite small. Around 10 tables. We came on Sunday noon and it was full. But they quickly seated us as soon as customers left. We ordered rice cake with shredded shrimp, rice cake with pork and shrimp, bun bo Hue and spicy clam vermicelli. It was for 3 of us. I recommend you should order rice cake first since it is fast for them to serve. The noodle might take longer. Everything is good but I don’t feel it is authentic Hue cuisine.

Great Huế dishes!!! We try cơm hến, bún bò Huế, bún chả cá, bánh ướt. They are all phenomenal. Coffee, and chè đậu ngự are good too. One of the rare places serves it with filter (not premade). Decent place, good price, and wide selection.
Yet, this is one of the few places that gets cơm hến and bún bò Huế right. The broth for both is right on money. They're highly recommended.

Wow! I’m been looking for banh bot loc everywhere in Houston and find no where as good as this place. The taste is the same as my gramdma made. Thank you so much. The customer service is friendly. I am really happy! Keep it up! I will come back with all my friends.

I was in for some traditional Vietnamese food and my friend told me that Dong Da has something very authentic dishes. It's a nice mom and pop shop, the staff there didn't speak very good English so you just need to be pretty patience when you communicate with them, I wish they have more pictures for each dish so that I know what I am ordering.

My friend ordered all the dishes that he says usually the King and Queen will snack in the afternoon. These are all made of sticky rice.

The one I like the most is the see-thru shrimp dumpling : Banh Bot Loc. I enjoyed the texture, the chewiness, the flavor of the shrimp. Tastes better with the fish of course.

I also thought the Banh Beo Chen is very different. The crispy fried pig skin they put on top adds extra flavor to the soft sticky rice.

Grilled beef eggroll was very nice. Soft outside, flavored inside. Better eat it while they are still hot.

Drinks are awesome, the Vietnamese coffee just bitter and sweet enough, the green bean soy milk was super good. I wanted to order another one for to go. That's how good it was.

If you never had any authentic traditional Vietnamese food before I highly suggest you give this one a try. Service is good and food worth trying.

The Pho here is phenomenal! The egg rolls and spring rolls are on point but not out of this world. Honestly the real Superstar here is the broth, there was no hoisin sauce or sriracha on the table. But once I tasted the broth I had zero need for it! The truth is they have some chili flakes and hot chili oil on the table and just a little bit of that give you just enough kick and really accented the flavor in the broth. I had a nice lemonade and the service is pretty good. I say that because I've been to enough Asian restaurants that I know what type of service to expect. This place does cater a little bit more to the customer then other places, so I will go out of my way to tell you that the service here is good. the Ambiance is very casual and the decor is dated but not ugly.

Good portion, fresh ingredients. I'm used to getting heavier tasting Bun Bo Hue. But this place offers an interesting version of the dish. The mint leaves and pickled Thai chilli gave the soup a much lighter note. Enjoyed it!
