Great food, great service, way better than other Brazilian restaurants in Houston, but service is one of the kind.
Incredible selection, friendly and helpful staff took excellent care of us. It was a fun birthday celebration....and they had the game on! ?
The food is amazing but what even better than the food is the service they provide. Everything is clean and all servers are professional. Always love to eat here when given the opportunity and alway leave full.
I generally try to stay away from anything with an all-you-can-eat option because, well, I really like to eat. Casa do Brasil makes it even harder because the food is so good. And not just the meat that they carve for you at the table. The salad bar is also deliciously stocked. Enjoy - and then decide if you want to nap the rest of the day or walk home to burn the calories off.

A must go in college station!! Meet friends and kids for lunch for salad bar by lunch several times and today! Only $19 dollar for week days. Or plus grills for $39. Best choice.
Food was delicious. It was a special occasion for us and our first time here. We have been TBrazilian steakhouse one other time and this was equal to our first experience as far as the quality and flavor of the food. I have to remark about the ,as of lately, unmatched table service displayed by out very skilled server. I do not remember his name but everything from start to finish was just shy of perfection. I especially enjoyed the attepntiveness by him and when it was appropriate to interrupt us with a wine pour or to take away and make room for desert. We appreciated his patience #1although we did feel like everything was slightly rushed with the presentation of the meat whether out place card was green or red. It was happening so fast it was hard to focus on when I was finished tasting what they just brought and }when I was ready for a different meat. Your staff should be trained on recognizing when it is appropriate to offer the next segment of meat in that course in other ways and not just focus solely on the green or red placement of the card. Good sales people will recognize body language great sales people will be able to react to people just by sensing their energy and responding according to that.
Overall please go visit this place for dinner. It was a delightful expirence. The lamb chops paired with the fresh speciality sauce was a real treat bursting with flavor. Thanks
Excellent food and service, but the sort of place you'd want to go to only for special occasions -- in our case our 43d anniversary -- as it's a bit expensive for most folks. Casa de Brasil is one of those restaurants where you can choose a meal from the menu or from one of two levels of tasting menus. Both levels provide unlimited access to an extensive salad/cheese bar. The salads were interesting and generally tasty. (There were a few items my husband and I took one bite of and said, "Nope.") Meats were passed around by servers and a portion of any were sliced and served tableside at your request. The higher priced menu, which we had, included 12 different types of meat and the lower priced had 8 meats, generally less expensive cuts of beef and featuring a greater proportion of chicken and pork offerings. Three side dishes were also served with our meal: fried polenta, garlic mashed potatoes and a caramelized banana. Beverages and dessert were not included in the price of the tasting menus.
With sales tax, we spent $162.00 for the two of us. The food and beverage itself -- with one dessert comped in honor of our anniversary -- came to $150.00. My husband tipped about 20% and paid $200.00 in total. For us, this amounts to a VERY special occasion meal.
Having said that, what follows is my review of the food itself.
1. All of the beef offered was excellent, with the exception of the bottom sirloin which suffered in comparison to the better cuts.
2. Both chicken and pork offerings tended to be dry and undistinguished in flavor.
3. Anything wrapped in bacon is suspect of being dry, relatively without flavor, as well as tough. Don't waste your appetite or stomach capacity on these.
4. Quail was offered but we didn't have it.
5. Lamb was offered, but I did not have it. My husband did and said it was OK.
6. The side dishes and small dinner rolls were not exceptional.
7. Desserts were about what you might expect to find at any reasonably good restaurant but about twice the price. I had the strawberry in ice cream, with about 1/2 ounce of currant liqueur as topping, and found it light enough to be enjoyable after such a heavy and large meal featuring meat.
Atmosphere and ambience:
The restaurant is nicely furnished and finished. Because it is composed largely of hard surfaces, it tends to be noisy when full or nearly full. It was very noisy and we found it difficult to converse or to hear waitstaff when we arrived at 7:30. It was much quieter and pleasant when we left at about 9:30.
Summary: Special occasion dinner featuring an endless supply of meats and salads. Pricey, so be sure you plan to eat a lot of meat and come hungry. Don't splurge on the salad bar (available separately for $28.00), side dishes or bread; you won't get your money's worth if you fill up on them. Unless, of course, money is no object as it appeared to be at a nearby table of 3 who started off with 2 rounds of whiskey shots at $140 per shot.. .$840.00 + tax and tip for pre-dinner drinks is a whole other league from most of us!
