BB's is my wife's and my go-to when in Jacksonville, especially if we are staying downtown. It is a relatively small lounge/restaurant so reservations are highly suggested. The food is excellent and they have an unbelievable dessert selection. Because it is small, it can get a little loud at times but certainly not so loud that it takes away from the unique atmosphere. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. Will go again next time we are in Jacksonville.
Went here for the first time tonight and it was amazing! I got a wedge salad with blackened chicken and it was *chef’s kiss!* Bought a piece of cake to-go as well and can’t wait to try it! Darius was our server and he is extremely knowledgeable of the menu and flavors! Would definitely recommend! P
I hosted a business dinner for 6 at BB’s on 8/17/22, my overall experience was simply perfect in every way. I easily made my reservation over the phone same day. The wait staff was very attentive, but not intrusive. They read our tables needs very well. The food was fabulous, everyone had something they raved about. I highly recommend the Salmon dip as an appetizer and the Blueberry cobbler for desert. I didn’t take any photos as this was a business dinner, but everything was plated beautifully.
Lastly, tip was included because of the 6 top. Our waiter gently pointed this out when he brought the bill. I was very grateful of the way he respectfully pointed this out. This has been an issue at other restaurants in the past, but not at BB’s.
10/10 would recommend this restaurant for any occasion. I will definitely be back again.
he food was great, and the prices were justified. We spontaneously went to the restaurant one evening as a couple. Our waitress, Kelly, I don't think I'm sure anymore, was the best waitress I've ever encountered in my life! Very professional, courteous, helpful and very friendly. Extremely likeable! If we had stayed longer in Jacksonville, we would definitely have come again. Highly recommended!

Das Essen war super, die Preise durchaus gerechtfertigt. Wir gingen an einem Abend als Paar spontan in das Restaurant. Unsere Kellnerin, Kelly, glaube ich bin mir aber nicht mehr sicher, war die beste Kellnerin, die ich je in meinem Leben erlebt habe! Sehr professionell, zuvorkommend, hilfsbereich und sehr freundlich. Extrem sympathisch! Wären wir länger in Jacksonville geblieben, wären wir auf jeden Fall nochmals gekommen. Sehr empfehlenswert!
Oh, my gosh. Where to begin? Nice restaurant, awesome food. Cozy, but not cramped. Lightinf is cool, and calm. I had the beef tenderloin that was cooked perfectly. I don't mean like.... "it's pretty much what I want.". It. Was. Perfect. Not a fan of Bleu cheese, but I tried it on the potato anyway. Not my thing, but I can see how it's appealing to some. The mixed drinks were tasty, and strong without a lemon-face pucker. My wife had a steak sandwich (for dinner? Okay), and loved it! She tried to keep her meal easy, but they found a way to spruce up a sandwich. And it worked! Awesome sized portions. The dessert case is a dreamland. I had a chocolate cake slice, and my wife, a slice of dulce de leche cheesecake. Absolutely delicious. Decadent is a word I seldom use, and it still falls short of our experience and meal. Our server, Rick G, was like a ninja, seeing our needs before he even got to the table, got us what we didn'teven know we needed, and was gone again. Like some Jason Bourne type stuff. The guy was great. I'm sorry I had to tip you on the card, Rick, I know that gets taxed, but I didn't have enough cash to show our appreciation of your hard work. It was like we eat there all the time, and he knew what to do. 18/10 WILL be eating there again.
Awesome place, we were there a bit late which I know can be a pain for the people working - I used to work food service so I get it - but the staff was still crazy friendly, the food and my martini came out perfect, and I even got to have my dogs with me since we sat outside! And they brought cups of water for them, which melted my heart. Definitely going to be a regular there. I should have taken pics of my food but I was too busy scarfing it down haha.
Outstanding meal before the show. I wasn't too crazy about the bruschetta app (I could do without the bread), but everything else was amazing. Pork tenderloin was fabulous. The best I've ever had. Ever! Our waitress was great. She even split our plates!
Wow!!! A friend recommended this restaurant and I need to send them a BIG gift ? in return. This was THE BEST meal I've had in Jacksonville- thanks BB's! The food was spectacular and the wait staff was very knowledgeable, helpful, energetic, and fun to talk to. Everytime I travel to/thru JAX, I will try to stop into BB's for another fabulous meal.
If there were 10 stars I’d give all of them. Jess the Manager there was attentive and amazing. Chris our bartender made a delicious Smokey old fashioned.
The food was some of the best I’ve had in Jacksonville! I cannot recommend this place enough!!!
Kayleigh was my bartender and she was amazing. Knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and cute! ? I had the fish and grits which were delicious, the fried green tomatoes being my favorite part and a bloody Mary to go along with. I will definitely be back!
