Best yoga studio and instructors I’ve had, and been doing yoga for a long time. The instructors are caring and attentive. Safe for healing injuries. It’s a true yoga experience, not just going through the motions.
Truly Above and Beyond! The one of a kind salted ceiling yoga studio clears my sinuses well within 3 minutes. It’s flooring is cushioned, anti fungal, and antibacterial. Yoga is mindful with classes for all ages and abilities. The Salt Therapy room is lovely and incredible! How fortunate and grateful to have Above and Beyond with Shoshana in Mobile!
I have been attending classes at Above & Beyond for almost 2 years now. I originally signed up because i heard yoga could help manage stress. It has been one of the best decisions i’ve made. Not only has it helped to improve my mental health, but also my life as a whole. I feel better than i ever have physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This is a special place that i recommend to anyone. If you are new to yoga and nervous, i assure you that everyone here is extremely welcoming and helpful the moment you walk in.

If you wanna stay “salty” like an old sailor hit up the best/ONLY salt room in town. The benefits are above and beyond!!
Shoshana and Jake have an extremely special place. They have created a space where I feel safe to explore my own practice. Shoshana is intuitive about what her students need and it shows, not only in her classes, but also in the other instructors she brings into the studio. I love how involved the studio is in the community and how vested they are in educating new generations of yogis, athletes, instructors, etc. I always leave the studio happier and more peaceful than I arrived.
If you are looking for a studio in the greater Mobile, AL area to practice yoga, I can’t recommend Above and Beyond enough! The owners are encouraging and fantastic. The quality of yoga instruction is world class. My job has me traveling quite frequently, so I don’t get to visit the studio as much as I’d like to, but whenever I can make a class, the owners and instructors are always warm-hearted and welcoming. In fact, some times they check in on me while I’m on the road, just to be supportive and say “hi.” Above and Beyond has an overwhelming positive vibe. The hot hatha class is awesome, and is my go-to session whenever I swing by. The mat in the studio space is super clean, super professional and high quality. It’s a rad spot, for sure!
I love the salt room. It’s really the only time I’m in complete silence in my busy life. It’s a piece of Heaven.
So excited that I was introduced to this awesome studio. Hot yoga is addictive! The teachers are all very encouraging and very informative, and supportive of all levels of Yoga practice. And with a rotating schedule, you’re never bored. Such a wonderful place to be!
This is the best yoga studio that I have ever been to! Everything about the studio is great including the wonderful owners.
