Orhan is awesome! His approach is really thoughtful and he goes out of his way to provide a great experience. I originally reached out about getting a leather/shearling coat altered and he let me know that he didn’t have the equipment appropriate for the unique thickness of the coat, but tried to procure the sewing foot from abroad for me. It ultimately wasn’t available, but he was upfront about the risks of performing the work with an unsuitable foot, which saved me from having a bad outcome. Luckily, I later found the coat in my size so it worked out in the end. A few months later, I needed a quick turnaround on a dress alteration for a wedding I would be attending. Given time constraints, Orhan personally delivered the dress to me on his way home across town as a special favor because I was on a time crunch. It was really sweet and not necessary but he was very generous to do so. The tailoring work is high-quality and I appreciate their honesty about what will work and what won’t, as it saves you from heartache later on. Thank you Orhan and MH Tailor!

I found the perfect dress to wear for my wedding but it was one size too big. After a quick google search I saw MH Tailoring's work on google and felt confident they had the skill to turn around a resize on a fully lined silk dress. Not only did they do an amazing job, they were able to turn the alteration around quickly to accommodate me before I had to fly out for the nuptials. Everyone was friendly and very efficient, got the dress perfect in one fitting and I couldn't have been happier. I will 100% be going back for all my tailoring needs.

Excellent reweaving service that is fairly, competitively priced. Brought in a suit jacket with moth holes (a tan one, too, where they're easier to spot), and was floored by what I got back. Used thread from inside to patch the holes. Perfect match. Also, everyone's so very friendly and warm and accommodating. A pleasure to walk in their door.

Another great job by MH TAILORING & ALTERATIONS. I had my heart set on this gym bag, but it lacked a secure interior pocket for those “important little things” - they placed an interior zipper and it looks awesome!!! Thank you :)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about MH Tailoring! I took my leather jacket to them last fall for a pretty major repair in the right armpit. The leather on this particular jacket is on the softer and more delicate side, and it had torn in several places. Given the value of the jacket, I wanted to make sure to take it to someone I knew I could trust. I was recommended MH Tailoring by an acquaintance. I drove from NE LA to Beverly to leave the jacket with them and I'm so glad I did! They did a beautiful job, the new piece of leather they used to replace the damaged panel is gorgeous and the craftsmanship is impeccable. I would imagine that this was a very challenging and time-consuming repair, but the cost was very reasonable. My jacket now looks as good as new! I'm so appreciative of all of the care that went into this repair.

This place is great! High quality, affordable, and fast. When I first went here, they made extensive modifications to an expensive velvet smoking jacket in only 2 days. They turned a 40 R classic fit into a 40 R slim fit for $125 and did a top-notch job. Highly recommend!
