Magnificent. Superb decorations.

Magnifique. Des décorations superbes.

A World Renowned Zoo with decades of great history and wildlife education and preservation. The entrance is Grand and we Love it and Loved our most recent trip. However, it didn't get 5 stars because the Place has areas that are very dated and look run down. That said we were made aware that the LA Zoo is in transition to revamping the whole thing. With the Absolutely Amazing San Diego Zoo as a template, and fellow and near by competitor, I'm very excited to see even more updated and new attractions! Come on Down and Enjoy! GOD Bless!!

I expected more from the Zoo, it's pretty to dry and the few animals that live there are in fair condition, it's clean in general, few food kiosks and very high prices, I recommend it just for a walk!

Me esperaba más del Zoo, está bonito a secas y los pocos animales que ahí habitan están en regulares condiciones, está limpio en general, pocos kioscos de comida y precios muy altos, lo recomiendo solo por pasear!

The lights aglo was a neat winter experience though they didn't have any real animals on display, only mock lit-up animals.

I'd recommend they open the night habitats of any nocturnal animals, at the least, so the visitors could enjoy both.

It was also a bit on the expensive side even with the discount.

I've only been here for two events so far... Boo at the Zoo and the Pride Zoo Lights night. It's not the most spectacular zoo, but it's a nice place to take kids, and the carousel is only $3/person. My biggest gripe is that the layout isn't intuitive and isn't a circle, so you always have to backtrack to get back to the entrance/exit.

The place was okay, didn't see most of the animals because it was raining. My main concern was on the birds... Such huge birds like the eagles but such a small area for them to fly around, i hope they fix that.

Honestly I haven’t been to L.A Zoo ever since I was a kid. Going back after so many years with my son has been the greatest experience. I felt like a kid again. From being there in the afternoon to see the animals and experiencing the Lights was so amazing. I loved how they have different little themes and music while you walk along the zoo. The restrooms were well kept and very cleaning too. I didn’t try the food and snacks but I definitely will when I go back next weekend.

10/10 I would highly recommend this place to spend time with family & friends.

The L.A. Zoo is a great day out and I highly recommend it. The animals are well cared for and the staff is enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It's a easy walk and you can see the entire zoo in a day. The offer scooter rental and tram services (at an extra cost) so everyone can get around in comfort. Food options are limited but the basics are there. Special events, like the Zoo Lights, are also available. Annual passes are available at a great price.

We love taking our kid to the zoo. We do have memberships, but they have been a great investment as we go monthly. We take a different route each time to see different animals. Also the night lights this year were beautiful.

There for LA zoo nights limited once a year engagement. Calm, chill and serene. Good vibes. Children having fun. Family oriented. No animals because they're sleeping. Great for a date or couples night out. Hot chocolate churros. Outside vendors got hotdogs n tacos so support em. Hot dog was awesome. Great holiday event. Awesome Christmas gift. All about friends n family.
